  1. I love circus concession! From them I love their apple cinnamon, Cinnamon Broom, Pumpkin Sugared donut, cinnamon sugared donut, Sugar Cookie Royale, Pumpkin vanilla marshmallow, Pumpkin pecan waffles, birthday cake, sugar cookie, gingerbread cookies, salted caramel, creamy nutmeg, mulberry (the best I've found), pretty much all their pumpkin scents are good. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
  2. I love her bakery scents. Bear Claws, Baked apples, Boo Berry, to name a few.
  3. I've used all 3 and haven't noticed any sort of smell either. Did you get their 25% off with your order from FB? If not, be sure and sign up for their newsletters because they have great sales and free shipping if your order is $100 or more. They should have another sale in July and they're always 25% off all FO's.
  4. Yep, FB and also WSP are both having a sale. Not sure about anyone else though.
  5. I'm looking for a good bubblegum also. I've ordered some oils from VA but never their bubblegum but now want to give it a try. What else do you like from them?
  6. @BenderSF, thank you for the recommendations! I haven't tried most from your list. The ones I have tried are Aspen Caramel Woods, Chestnuts and Brown Sugar, Christmas Wish (I love this one too!), and Cornbread muffins, which I haven't put in wax. I'm more of a bakery person but I really need to quit buying so many bakery scents since they don't sell well for me. Maybe one day when I branch out they will. I sure hope so since that's what I like to pour LOL! A lot of my customers like masculine scents or leather and leather blends which I don't care for with the exception of a couple. I really hate the way WSP has messed up JS website. I always loved going to her site. It was just so inviting and drew me right in.
  7. EEEEWWWWW! I hate the new web design! One of the things that I always enjoyed on her site was the way it was set up and all. YuK! That's all I can say!
  8. What are your favorites from JS? I have quite a few of hers but need to downsize but always looking for oils to buy!
  9. I haven't used any of the ones you listed but I have several of hers that are great. I'm sorry that you have had that experience. I do love a lot of Flaming, CS and Lone Star oils too. Have you tried selling the JS oils on here?
  10. What did you get from them that you didn't like? I've had oils from them that were weak but several that were very good and strong. It seems that's the way with all suppliers.
  11. From NG I love their- Gingerbread Mrs. Claus Cookies Hillbilly Homebrew Balsam and Cedar Bayberry Blue Hawaiian Butt Naked Caribbean Christmas Cabin Cinnamon Sticks Clove-they have the best I've tried so far Clean breeze Monkey Farts Gingered Peach Hot Orange Danish Hot Cocoa Snickerdoodle Latte Tangerine dreams
  12. Have you tried zincs? I've not made that many candles but when I do I like zincs with this wax.
  13. Thank you for the information! I have so many of their oils and never think to reach for them but their sales always lure me in LOL!
  14. JS has a salted butterscotch FO. I wonder if it's similar. That sounds so yummy! I will check that out next time I go to Walmart.
  15. I second the plain cheesecake one from NG.
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum! Reading about all you have done is so interesting. You'll get a lot of help in the candle department on here. There are tons of experienced chandlers on this forum. It'll become an addiction LOL! Anyway, great to have you!
  17. I don't even understand why they make oils like this! I guess for gags. EEEEWWWWW!!!
  18. At least 3/4 inches deep I would think. I'm sure you can bake them in molds that are not as deep but the beads bake down so that seems like it would be too thin. I use cookie cutters too but am really liking silicone molds the more I use them.
  19. I know this is an old post but if you haven't ordered more of their SCR you defiantly should! Or at least try it from Flaming. It's such a great bakery scent.
  20. Ok, I just noticed you live in Arizona. I'd still check and compare prices. You might get a better deal from Rustic.
  21. I'm thinking she was the person that owned Rustic Escentuals at one time. They're owned by Wholesale Supplies Plus now but their site still says Rustic Escentuals. As far as the dimples, no it doesn't matter, it's going to melt anyway. I just hate them LOL! I did see a guy on a youtube video pouring it the other day and his were pretty smooth. I think it depends on how fast it cools as to getting dimples. Where are you located? Check the prices from Rustic. Right now for some reason I can get 40 pounds shipped to me for only $15. From Virginia and Flaming the shipping was around $25 or more.
  22. The one I have is from Keystone and it's a Peak fragrance. It smells good. I've smelled the one from Buy It Ship It and I really liked theirs. It's their own blend. I don't order much from them (they are a little high priced) so I don't know if I"ll order it again, although I should since I can get a lady I go to church with to pick it up for me. I haven't tried anyone else's except I did get a sample from NG once and it had a floral note to it which I didn't like. I wanted the fruity scented one.
  23. I'm so glad someone asked this because I've been wanting to learn myself for a long time! Thanks!
  24. That would be my guess. I'm throwing my two cents in since it looks like those that were in this thread haven't been on in a while. I've used KY wax and love it except for the dimples. I have found that a repair gets rid of them and they have smooth tops or I add some container wax to the blend but I add 4630 because I want more paraffin than soy. You can also get this wax from Virginia Candle and Flaming. It seems a couple more places have it too. Just Scent I think is one.
