  1. Welcome to both of you! Good to have you here. You will learn a lot from the seasoned chandlers on this forum. I've just started seriously making candles but have been dabbling in it for almost 9 years and making melts/tarts the whole time. I've learned a lot from people here and everyone is so nice. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. Someone will be able to help you! Again, welcome to the forum!
  2. I'll have to check it out! I like the one from Aztec but I've never smelled the one from B&BW's so I didn't know if it was a good dupe or not. Thanks!
  3. Midwest Fragrance Co. Not sure of the address but they're in Wisconsin. Great oils and wonderful customer service! They're new in selling oils but have been in the candle business for years. They're the sweetest people to deal with. Their names are Doug and Kenna. Just sweet, sweet people! www.midwestfragranceco.com
  4. I haven't tried pumpkin seed and Out but that sounds interesting. I use some LS oils so the next time I order I'll have to try this one. So JS cider lane and Aztec's smell different? I've only used the one from Aztec. Which one is best?
  5. I know this is an old thread but I'm still on the hunt for any and all pumpkin scents! I'm anxiously waiting for Doug and Kenna from Midwest to release their new Fall scents! Can't wait!
  6. Do you get as good a HT with this wax as with a softer wax? I've been testing 4786 and I love the way it seems to be a firmer wax that maybe won't melt as easy if I ever started doing shows in the outdoors and here in Texas it can be hot in the Fall and Winter at times. Have you ever tried 4786? IS there a specific type of mottling wax that you're using? Sorry so many questions.
  7. If you can hold off I think they're having a sale in July. They have great sales with 25% off and free shipping if you order $100 which adds up to only $75 after the discount. You can't beat their sales.
  8. Did you try Farmhouse Christmas? I'm wondering about that one. It sounds like it would be something I'd like.
  9. It's so wonderful! The one I've poured is from Fragrance Buddy but several suppliers have it. It's SO good! Want me to send you a sample?
  10. I'm interested! I have ordered some samples from them before and it seems I liked them fine but they just never became one of my main suppliers. CS has a candy apple that I love but I might have to try the one you got too.
  11. Now I'm going to have to get their key lime and cocoa butter cashmere! I may actually already have them LOL! I need to check. I'm in love with Fall scents and they're my favorite type to pour. I never get tired of them! I'm drooling over pumpkin peanut brittle in my melter right now!
  12. Where do you get Cyclo? Is that it's full name?
  13. I love ICS white cake but like you said it is very heavy on the almond. I haven't put but a couple of the oils in wax that I got from Midwest but hopefully will soon. I've been pouring Fall scents and want to pour their cinnamon buns!
  14. Please do if you can! Waiting impatiently!
  15. Thank you so much for sharing!
  16. All you do is add FO?
  17. Not meaning to sound dense but what is DPG? How much do you use and how much FO? Are those the only two ingredients? Thanks for your help!
  18. I also agree with her vanilla sugar waffle cone being richer than the one from JS. Their cinnamon buns is another one that's great! I haven't put them all in wax yet but hopefully I will get around to that soon.
  19. Does anyone make room sprays and do you have a favorite recipe? I've made them from alcohol and distilled water with FO but have never used any of the bases that suppliers sell. Is one better than the other? Thanks in advance!
  20. Welcome to the forum and back to your much loved crafting business Brittney! Your story is very inspiring! I will defiantly wanting to be learning from you since I am also into the rustic/primitive look. I have silicone molds to make grubby pillars but am looking for instructions on how to make my own and use a candle I bought from another company that's hand dipped for my mold. Do you remember at all where you got your mold from? Please keep us updated on your projects!
  21. So glad you're pleased with it! I will defiantly check out Sugared from WSP.
  22. I third the vote for JS cotton candy super strong. I also love her blue cotton candy. WSP has a good one also.
  23. Be sure to sign up for their newsletters because they have great sales. They're supposed to have one in July after they test a lot of new fragrances so that might be a great time to stock up on Fall scents. I'm already pouring Fall stuff LOL!
