  1. I like it so far as well- they seem superior to any other soy containing wax out there these days @ellajoan- that looks pretty darn good for in between burn- what did you used to use before? you would cry with 415 if you think that’s bad 😂
  2. I have very little C3 experience or luck with it but being it’s a rock hard soy and HTP burn like CD I would try the 93 in the 4 ounce 2” diameter and the 104 in the 8 ounce 3” diameter and go from there after getting a baseline of how well it’s consuming maybe make them wickless and drill a hole so you can swap them out more easily if it’s burning to hot or cold
  3. I LOVE sweetcakes they are pricey but just worth it IMO...now I haven’t ordered in a long while due to STILL working on a new wax I like so I’m not sure if they have been affected with having to reformulate as well but I would imagine so I use hotel costes- I love love this scent, its very different and mysterious intriguing champaca and bamboo is the bomb of clean and green out there I have found so far - we’ll dine grass Wsp is right up there also margarita is so realistic in a candle it isn’t even funny- you smell the lime and the salt and tequila with zero fuel in soy red currant votivo is another amazing fresh clean strong scent Woodsmoke is a must for the perfect blender in woodsy type scents Angel is amazing and exactly like the perfume lilac is strong ans realistic no powder or perfume green Irish tweed is a very nice scent but I found it kinda weak along with northwoods, olive blossom and clean lavender and herbs smelled weird to me and I don’t think I tried the others you listed milk and honey I think it is is also very weak
  4. Oh my Forrest 😂 that takes the cake on mushrooms and I’m not laughing at you I’m hopefully laughing with you....been there myself before did your daughter trim it all? What wax and what wick series is that
  5. TT can answer that better then me as far as couple month cured candles doing a second pour...I haven’t went back and done that on finished candles from here on out I would just do it to be sure as it doesn’t take that much extra time if you can’t get your pour temps just right sounds like you have huge cavities if they are extinguishing the wicks
  6. CS whiskey is good but I’m not sure about it alone - I think it’s a mixer scent I still haven’t put it in wax to be able to comment further
  7. You can poke holes in all of them around the wick and second pour - PIA I know but I am finding I have to do this with anything soy these days or else it’s a huge gamble on getting huge flares in the flame
  8. I just got my elements email on their Black Friday sales 25-75% off sale haven’t read the details yet but they have some great oils!
  9. I think the color is pretty and although I don’t use your wax if you do decide to do a repour I would not add more fragrance - I have melted candles down before and there isn’t much difference in throw so long as you don’t over heat it for long periods of time
  10. I’m not well versed in wood wicks but I thought the same that it looks to big for that container I have used wood wicks original boosters and smooth with a coco blend and never had that much debris and discoloration in the wax I would try and wicking down and try another type also to see if you get a better burn
  11. This is just my opinion but if your market is soy and you want to stick with soy then stay true to your brand For one account lost another could be around the corner .....maybe with the soy changes your throw has changed - can you smell your candles? I personally can’t smell 464 candles and that isn’t meant to be a mean comment I just can’t, worked with it for years and unless it’s dangerously wicked hot I got nothing from it but it is so easy to work with - maybe adding some 444 will help improve it but my experience with the 444 these days is you have to watch for cracks and cavities but 464 is so soft you might not have that issue and btw -Joanna Gaines candles have no throw to my nose either so maybe the shop will come back to you if you always had good feedback before 😉
  12. I appreciate that I really do I’m just puzzled why it hasn’t worked for me 😂
  13. Very interesting as I use the square masons and with 444 I still get sink holes and giant cavities filling just to level before the neck and it happens at various pour temps and cooling rates A few I thought were perfect I poked just to be sure thinking I hit the golden ticket on temps and down both sides of the wick I had complete air all the way down 🤷‍♀️
  14. They were imo as well she was extremely rude not only to Quentin but to the very person that keeps this forum running for us as well We need to trust TT’s decisions and be grateful we have this place to come to People will always have disagreements but I don’t feel there is a place here to belittle others trying to learn 🤷‍♀️That’s my pennies worth
  15. If your unsure about putting pine in the name and set on winter how about using winter wonderland for this one or winter woods Winter forest winterfest You could incorporate something in your town into the name as well like “twin peaks” tree lot or cut your own to use for the holidays I also like rustic pine as it can be used Year round
  16. Well goodbye then 🤷‍♀️ Your attitude frankly sucks you claim to want to offer advise yet tell people they shouldn’t be asking you questions - this is a place of learning in a cordial manner we all help each other out here and learn so much - why would it be an issue for Quentin to ask you your pour temp range - if your experienced as you say you are then you should know that answer would not be trade secret as there are many variables to pour temp but kindly giving a range to start to help a fellow chandler is what this place is about and TT has done a fabulous job making this a serene community
  17. I haven’t used palm much but it does seem to me as well the Pockets are still going to be there somewhere even though when I burn them I don’t see a problem would it make sense to poke relief holes and second pour this wax in jars like your supposed to with pillars? @Jcandleattic @Candybee
  18. I have poured this wax at all different temps and cooled at many different rates and nothing is safe....candles that appeared fine developed cracks months down the road - you can’t control temps of where that candle ends up either - a recent discovery I found is many pockets formed as well under the surface even when mixed with softer waxes at smaller percentages never have I seen Anything Like this with a soy wax - to be sure there are no cavities relief holes and a second pour I would suggest but as far as the cracks.....you will likely have to go at least 50% with a softer one mixed in 🤷‍♀️ Heat gunning I found them to just reappear and although most self mend while burning I am uneasy about the cavities and the possibility of what could happen when it burns to use this wax alone for resale
  19. Yep....mind boggling that mine looked just like the OP picture with the exact same lot of fragrance oil and scent and same wax and everything - except my stiring tool my jar was a 12 ounce straight sided one and this was a first for me - I have never seen this phenomenon ever and I always use glass I am changing my batteries in my scale and using a new thermometer along with my new stir tool @TallTayl, thank you! next time around
  20. Lol Scented I see a side view of a bunny with his eye in there - you can even see the pupil of the eye take away the ears and yes you see lips....lips that appear to have something in the middle of them
  21. Rainforest is awful imo I use and love: autumn lodge vanilla bean noel vanilla oak dune grass Black salt and cypress sun and sand guava mojito Burmese wood bourbon tobacco Angel Fraser fir cracklin firewood clean cotton Oakmoss sandalwood kabocha squash Pumpkin oud Oakmoss sandalwood Black raspberry vanilla Agave nectar Blood orange and goji - I haven’t put this in wax yet but smells amazing oob frosted birch and juniper that’s all I can think of off the top of my head - I know I have more ....love love these oils!
  22. Ditto everything TT said Eco seem to consume much better keeping up with the wax so your not left with deep pools and it not able to disperse scent up into the air IF your using the right size - you go to big you will get soot there is a learning curve to these wicks for sure to get it perfect
  23. It could be Goldie and you need to try them and see GB waxes are so different now that you have to get the wax hot enough with the right wick that can keep up with consumption to keep melt pool under control CD do not fit this bill anymore making a hot deep meltpool and little throw - at least with 415 that is and 464 is softer so my guess would be it’s your wicks now Test this side by side with cd and eco naked and see the difference in your burns Then add a fragrance you know used to throw and see what you get eco are hot so go smaller than you would a cd
  24. Sure you can I do it all the time I just wipe it out with paper towel before putting in a different wax
  25. 🙈🙈🙊🙊 I have no words.... selling stinky socks and obviously stinky underwear can make you good money?? People really do this? hell what am I doing battling wax when I can just throw my undergarments in a package at the end of the day and pay my mortgage 😂🤣 So gross - I think I am traumatized now
