  1. I don't know what you have in EO but Sandalwood, Chamomile, Spearmint, Ylang Ylang...just to name a few. I also like blends of Lavender with Cham, Ylang or Spearmint.
  2. Very pretty and by far my favorite lavender fo
  3. Sorry, haven't been checking on here. I use Naturewax C3 and add 2 tbsp of Universal Soy Additive to each 5# batch. I do both candles and melts with the same mix. I also use the same 6% fo in everything. They pop right out, no problems.
  4. Ditto on the cow candle, that is way too cute. I found myself looking for faces in it... must be breathing too much fo!
  5. Really pretty candles, I would definitely try again times have changed and customer's tastes have changed.
  6. Maybe it will be light and fluffy! Bummer about the mold.
  7. Thanks Candybee I will check it out. I do have a huge display that is baskets that tilt forward on a stand that I would love to use but it is way to big! My candles/melts need most of the space I have.
  8. I have been selling hand made soaps for about 5 years now in a retail location (I don't make them just decided to add to my candle line). I was sick of my glass cube shelving unit so decided to go with a floor rack that has 4 large spinning baskets for the soap. Now that I have it, I don't really love it. How do you display your soaps in a retail setting? I am limited to 2' w x 2' deep against a wall. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I don't carry any other b&b products anymore.
  9. You You pretty much hit it with this statement! It's a party when everything goes right and 9 out of 10 is pretty darn good in my book. I've learned to embrace wet spots & mushrooms when I get them. I absolutely hate soot but with a few heavy vanillas in certain jars I just can't get rid of it, so had to learn to overlook that as well.
  10. That particular fo sure does last! Twigs & Berries is another one. There are a few that will still smell in over a week in our store but usually burn about 8 hours a day so 70-80 hours.
  11. Wonder if it's a brand new company? The website copyright is 2014. Be interested in finding out if they are going to sell to the public or just wholesale bulk oils.
  12. Not with lottery tickets, but with $$ I suggest putting them into either zip bags or flat bags and punching a hole in the top of the bag and attaching with ribbon of the school colors or raffia.
  13. I've had it happen also and I use C3 so prob not the wax. I like the swirls as well, pretend that you planned it.
  14. Jar store, they list as 20.5 oz. Candlewic has them cheaper
  15. What is going on with Levine Gifts? Seems like every time I go on their site almost everything is out of stock. I used to be able to order from them but it's really becoming more difficult to put together a decent order. Really looking for some electric warmers that can be used as essential oil diffusers if anyone has another reasonable source.
  16. are you using belle-aire.com? I just got into it
  17. Thanks, the first one is like the one on Craigs. Lady never used, still in a sealed box. She called and I'm going to pick it up today! So very excited.
  18. Colonial Tin Works has the regular size, they come on every warmer mason jar and I take them off and keep them (not sure why) when I assemble the warmer insert. They may be helpful with a source?? Some suppliers are very helpful and others don't want to give out any info!
  19. Took me a long time to give up on many fo's because I'm a lemon lover but some just aren't worth the fuel smell. If it's a light fuel smell it will sometimes go away by wicking down 1 size but then you run the risk of the candle not burning properly. If you love the scent, it's worth a try. I now reserve those scents that just don't work out with a wick for making melts. I've only had 1 that the fuel smell was evident in a melt...actually evident oob on that one.
  20. Thanks, that's my problem, presto just doesn't hold enough and hate having to run 3 of them to make melts. I did find a masterbuilt on Craig's...awaiting a call back
  21. Anyone use the Cajun Injector Electric Turkey Fryer for soy wax? Looking at this one because of the spout since Masterbuilt doesn't seem to make the one with the spout anymore.
  22. Here's info I got: Height 4" Base Diam 2.5" top Diam 2.75" Fill line wax cap: 6.4 oz overfill cap: 7.5 oz
  23. I sell some that are blended with carrier oils and it simply states "roll on" or "skin ready" and then under ingredients it lists the other oils used along with the eo.
  24. I know what you mean about a new container, but I do love the fleur de li especially. They might be straight sided, I was going to call them to see if straight and same diam as one of my current jars because that would eliminate most of the wick testing. They are pricey though, I currently don't even pay that much for my covered status jars...after shipping could put it out of my market.
