I use paraffin and I cover the candles with a box so they cool as slowly as possible....this helps prevent the tops from shrinking very much if at all. I will use a heat gun to even out the tops, if needed.
Ladybug1, Since you mentioned using Avery Design and Print, why don't you download Avery Design Pro 5. It's free and you may find it is easier to work with than Avery Design and Print.
You may want to check out Save on Scents website. They have, IMO, a really good deal and good reviews on their results. I can't seem to paste the link so just go to their website and type in duplication service in the search bar. Good luck!
I would suggest the candle tins with the feet, if you will, on the bottom. I get mine from Candle Science. (I tried to paste the link, but I couldn't get it to work.)
I agree that Peaks is an awesome supplier. They are super fast with shipping for sure. Did you know that they ship from a location in Pennsylvania now as well as their home base in Colorado? Maybe you are getting those great shipping rates out of PA !
Thanks for your positive comment bugtussle. I went with ordering from Fillmore Container. I had ordered the 50pk from them before and the clamshells were fine. A case of 700 was $112 and shipping to me wasn't too bad. I may give Panic a go next time around.
I posted about the tart swap in the Wickless Forum. It had views and then it disappeared. I re-posted and after some views, it disappeared again! I am clueless here! Barbara
Hi...I just posted a fall/tart swap in the Swap Forum My fat finger hit the enter key before I completed the topic title....but I cannot edit it! Is there anyway a moderator can do that for me?? Barbara
I am thinking of purchasing a case of Panic clamshells as the price and shipping to me is the best deal. If anyone has used them, I am hoping for positive comments! Thanks, Barbara
