I just emptied the wax out of the pot. The model is 600611. Could it be that I was using a 6 quart pot all these years 😳 😂 ? Thank you both for responding!

So it is the 6008 model that is the 8 quart pot?

In the middle of making candles my Presto pot decided to quit. Does anyone know if they discontinued this size I only see the 6 quart around. If anything, I would like to go a bit larger. I do not have the pouring spout on mine. Without checking every candle distributor site would anyone know who sells them or can anyone suggest an alternative? Thanks.

Please Please elaborate on this. I would think, for example, beeswax may not be a good container wax as it may burn too hot but are there any types of containers that would not be suitable for PF, soy and palm and why not? -

Beautiful soap JCA! I felt confident I knew what Kilgharrah was - a mountain/volcano, of course until I looked it up -- I was thinking Kilimanjaro! So I don't really know who Kilgharrah is but I looked that one up too and think the name goes very well with your soap. So either I was not that good in geography or my memory is on it's way out -- probably a mixture of both!

Your labels are eye catching and colorful! Do you remove the previous label or slap it on right over the old one?

I used to buy my 4786 from Peak then switched over to C&S. Nice to know about Aztec but C&S is much closer to me. Their coloring may be a bit more yellowish but performance is the same.
