So you don't want to hear about how the FMC Cinnamon Cider reminds me of Bert's Apple Cinnamon Cider, or that the Buttery Almond Cookie makes me drool & I want to drink it oob or how the Olive Blossom ACTUALLY SMELLS LIKE OLIVE BLOSSOMS? They're all amazeballs so far!

I'm currently testing their Spiced Apple and it looks like a winner! (or should I say smells like a winner?)

Well, there's the BnL Buttermilk Pancakes at BCN, I haven't used mine yet, but it smells just like pancakes oob and I've had excellent luck with the BnL fo's.

Ha! That's exactly what I use! We have an almost never ending supply! lol!

I don't think I've ever seen a fo specifically labeled DARK brown sugar, but imo ICS has the only brown sugar fo that actually smells like brown sugar!

Unfortunately ICS discontinued the Pumpkin Pie Filling a couple of years ago (I agree it was the best!). And Bittercreek hasn't had their pumpkin pie closeout fo for a much longer time, I think I've been making candles for about 5 years and it was gone before I started. Sorry! There is a recent thread about favorite Pumpkin scents and another one re: Fall Favorites, you might check those out for current favorites, I hths!

Oh good! I didn't know if it would be worth a try or if I was just hungry when I thought of it! lol! I have Buttermilk Pancakes fo but I don't have a bacon yet, I also thought that adding a maple syrup fo might help, especially if the bacon was overwhelming but if the RE bacon has maple notes maybe it won't be necessary! I'll need to figure out which bacon I want to buy now, there seems to be several companies that carry it! Good luck with your testing and when I get some bacon fo I'll let you know how it goes!

Buttermilk pancakes? I don't know why I've been thinking of this combo lately, but my brain won't let it alone! Hoping if I asked maybe someone will say it won't work and I can leave off wondering about it!

@megandgarr, does mixing the two make it smell closer to the Gold Canyon, or does it smooth out the spiciness of the Gingerbread Spice? Not sure that I'm understanding how mixing them helps. And how are you liking the Cranberry Woods from Fragrance Buddy, does it smell like the BBW version? Tia!!

It does sound scrumptious! So yummy in fact that it sent me scramblin' to search through my samples to try to make a similar blend. And guess what I found that I'd forgotten about? A 4 oz bottle of ICS's Pumpkin Spice Latte!

@ Candybee, Have you ever sniffed or tested the Buttery Almond Cookie or the Citrus Spruce from Fillmore? I'm looking at the Buttery Almond Cookie for a mixer, for some reason I've acquired a bunch of testers of various blackberry fos, thought maybe mixing those with a cookie scent to use them up. And wondering how the Citrus Spruce might compare to Elements Balsam and Citrus. Anybody?? Hmmm?

I got this phone number from the label on a bottle of Tn fo. (423) 753-6920. If it doesn't work then a couple of years back when they first started having issues I recall someone on this board posting a phone number, you might try to search for that. It was definitely in a thread about Tn. And I don't know for sure that Scent Works is oob, there's just a lot of speculation that they might be headed that way. Their website had a note on it that they were closed for inventory during August, the note is gone now and it appears that orders can be placed, it just might be a bit risky to order from them now! Apparently the phone is turned off and I can tell you for a fact that emails to them bounce. Take that to mean what you will!

I like the Cedar Garland oob, I can't wait to put it in wax! And that's a good idea about spicing the Creamy Chai up with Amish Harvest, if the Fillmore chai ends up performing better for me in wax than the Candle Soylutions does then I might just do that. I looked on my tin of Starbuck's Chai tea bags, it says the ingrediants are black tea, ginger root, cinnamon, black pepper (?!), cardamom, star anise and cloves. Shouldn't be too hard to approximate the spicier aspects, except for the black pepper which I don't get!
