  1. I used to use castor jelly years ago for lip gloss in the squeeze tubes. I bought mine from Oak Court Creations. I don't think they sell it any more. Camden Gray, Essential Wholesale and Essentials by Catalina carry it, though.
  2. Okay, I was just funnin' and set this up in 2 seconds to see what all the fuss was about. This thing is awesome! Edited to add: When I take pics for real, I don't have shrink wrap on them. I like the bars nekkid!
  3. Thanks to you enablers, my light box was delivered yesterday. Before that, I had one made from a cardboard box that I had cut the sides and tops out of and covered with white tissue paper. The inside was lined with white poster board. I used it outside on sunny days and reflected the sun with either another piece of white poster board or a piece of cardboard covered with foil. This thing is going to be so fun to play with.
  4. I use a plastic tube holder from a thermometer to set my wicks. I also do them by the case.
  5. I do. It's a parasoy blend I make with 464 and 4630. I have good results with it and it's a big seller.
  6. I make sugar scrub cubes with sugar, oils and melt and pour soap.
  7. Hey, PC

I'm interested in the Cedarwood Vanilla, Volcano and the Little Black Dress. Shipping to 36265

Ugh!  Didn't I put tape over the flip top to hold it down?  So sorry about that.

No worries. The tape came off with the labels I'm afraid. Nothing had tape on it.

:o  Wow!  I used a rubber glove to tighten those bottle caps.  Maybe too tight!

  8. We have a cattle dog named Bindi. She is a hot mess. We have a sticker on our Suburu that says, "Owned by a Blue Heeler". It's the total truth.
  9. Palm wax can turn to dust when you start breaking it. May be a bit messy looking.
  10. I use Candlemaker's Store, but I haven't tried any of these. I've found their oils to be like any other supplier, hits and misses.
  11. I think it looks great! Your friend has issues.
  12. I do FO soaked corn cob and put them in organza bags. I also do 4 oz jelly jars with daisy lids.
  13. Welcome! Lots of great info here!
  14. I placed my order already on your site, so whatever you want to do works for me. I had actually forgotten I'd ordered them.
  15. Got my FOs on Saturday! Thank you for all the little soapy samples, too! I'm battling a cold/upper respiratory infection and can't smell worth a flip right now.
  16. I use an electric skillet to keep my pour pots in, but also keep my heat gun near by to warm my pots and my jars before pouring.
  17. Never heard of them, but it looks like they carry a respectable number of oils.
  18. You're right. Capri Blue is the company and Volcano is the scent. I got them discombobulated. I'm trying to scroll and post while I'm at work (on the sly). Aspen Bay is apparently the style of the blue glass jar the candle normally comes in. I had never heard that before, but it's on Amazon, so it must be true.
  19. Volcano is the original creator of Capri Blue. I believe Aspen Bay is just a candle company using a dupe of that oil.
