I just wrote a few reviews, so thought I'd post a few pictures to go along with it. Green with tiger stripes is Persian Limewood & white with green is Aloe. I love both these fragrance - both rock!!!! Sorry about blurry pics - this old IPad does not have the best camera.

I buy my Sodium hydroxide from essential depot via Amazon. They usually have a discount if you buy through Amazon. The real discount comes if you buy at least 10 pounds which is about $35. I also bought other various oils off of Amazon when I was first starting out. But Walmart and Costco have the best prices - if you can get to them. BTW-I love the tallow shortening from Walmart -makes a very creamy soap!!!

I have the same problem with CW shipping. I can't tell you how many times I dump my CW cart when I get to shipping. It's just too steep, which makes me sad. I try to convince myself that they are still cheaper (overall) than a few other suppliers I use, but high shipping is my pet peeve. I just can't do it!!!

I use 2 piece ball ornaments from Hobby Lobby. They have a few sizes. I like the 2.5 inch ones. They make about 3.8 ounce bath bomb. It is plenty big enough to create a nice fragrance and make your skin smooth and silky in a typical bath. I find that they are a hard sell unless people have used them before (either mine or other). Chris - wooh, SW has it listed for $75 a pound, Is it worth it? Have you compared it to moonworks? Is it richer, stronger ...?

I usually cut mine within 24 hours, unless I do non-gel soap or castile. You should be fine. Cut it!! Cut it!! Cut it!!! Cutting is my favorite part.

I know I'm a little late, but here's my thoughts on CC. Sun-warmed sandalwood is awesome! It is very subtle in tarts, but still very nice. I love it cp!!!! Sold out of soap and tarts during the holidays. Cucumber Melon is super strong. Rocks in CP and tarts. It is not my favorite smell, but really appeals to the younger crowd. My daughter loves it. Frankincense and Myrrh - did not throw well in tarts, but awesome in cp. it did discolor cp. Had a customer buy all and call for more. Sultry angel - throw is awesome in parasoy tarts. I also put into sugar scrub and body butter. I love the scent, but it did not sell very well. Cherished - did not throw well for me in parasoy tart Creme brûlée - did not throw Crushed strawberry and Rubarb - strong thrower, but not pleasant to my nose. My 12 year old daughter loves it though. Dayddream believer - CP awesome strong and really sticks. I have a bar from over a year ago that still smell wunderbar! Did not try in wax. Fairy dust and twinkle toes - love this scent - great in cp, but faded a little bit after a few months. Can't remember about throw in parasoy. Fallen leaf - ick!!! Mulberry and moonbeams - blow you out the doors strong - smelled like tropical punch (the drink) to me. Pillow fight - a very nice fresh laundry type. Strong, but not as strong as other downy types I've smelled. I really liked this one. Sunflower and sea mist - love the ct in parasoy, but could not get it to throw well. Faded in my cp too. Sea shells- nice scent and stuck in cp, but same ol', same ol' oceany type scent. Tiger lily and cantaloupe - love this scent too, but could not get a strong ht from it. Faded too much in cp too. Unfortunate, because I really love this scent. Vanilla vadoo- just meh for me. scent okay, throw just okay. Wow, I don't know if I've ever given such a lengthy review. I guess I was just in the mood this morn.

Oh, Another thought-- The wax may work great for you!!! There has been many times that a wax is a dud for one and works awesome for another. So don't take my experience as an absolute. Good luck, and please give us an update when you try it!!!

Both HT and CT were weak. I personally think something in the wax changed. The format changed for sure(from slab to pellets), but the throw was not nearly as strong as it once was. -- But It has been 7 months or so since I ordered it, so hopefully the wax is back to it's old wonderful self. Give us a report when you try it. (Ravens would be over the moon if her beloved wax came back to it's former glory. )

Oh yes. There have been many threads and debates about this wax. You should be able to find them in a search. I have used that wax in the past and really liked it, but was very disappointed with the last 2 batches I received. It seems that many others had the same experience.

I agree that you should call back and talk with a supervisor, president, whoever you can. A good company should value their customers, no matter the size. I bet the owners/president will understand this and make things right. Well, lets hope.

My favorite wax blend for tarts: Clarus 3022 & IGI 4794.

I've had more success than failures using this recipe - and have had rave reviews from family and customers. The lavender bedtime I use in this recipe is my favorite. Oh, and i usually skip the sls.

I instantly affiliated name with the military. I would expect camo color candles or some kind of survival type candle. Not sure it would be a great name for anything scented with pink sugar or love spell. It took me a minute to figure out what DD meant. Got it now. but it would be great for a specialty line of candles!! Especially right now with all the DD buzz. You could do some fun things with that theme.
