Went for a run this morning (yay me!) Just finished up a few orders. I have quite a few pictures to take of products so I can put then in my Etsy shop but I feel like being lazy at the moment. I also have labels to design. I have some new lip balm flavors to make and a fun new body butter but we'll see if that gets done. The list is never ending. lol

I don't use those waxes but I let mine cure for 7 days before testing. I use an all soy blend.

I haven't tried either of those but just wanted to shout out for Nature's Garden. If you want a great pine scent, Christmas Cabin is a great one. Also Mistletoe & Ivy is a great almost pine scent. It's unique and a great seller. Most of my fragrances come from them. Like you said, they have great customer service.

I don't ever have mine in the fridge. I sell a lot of lip balm so I have to make new batches quite often. The ingredients are good for about 2 years.

Ooooh Pretty. I love that. It's been awhile since I made soap. Ok. I dug through pics from a couple of years ago. Here's a Pumpkin apple butter soap with vanilla bean that I made. It sold really really well.

I have been wanting to play with coffee butter for a long time and haven't because it's expensive. I finally ordered some and I LOVE it! I added vanilla fragrance to it to tone down coffee. It's awesome. I love the Jamaican Vanilla Cafe fragrance from NG. It has been selling really really well for me in my sugar scrubs.

Well I was supposed to have a bunch of new fragrances shipped today so I could play but with the bad weather back east, it got delayed until Monday. My Etsy shops have been super busy so I haven't had much breathing room to play with new stuff. I'm finally mostly caught up so I thought I'd try some new recipes this weekend. I got some new butter and new oil in the other day so I'm going to try some new body butter. I also have a lot of products to take pictures of and add to my shop. So, not really wax melting this weekend but that's what I'll hopefully be up to. Right now I'm happy just sitting here on the couch. lol.

I had a customer message me the other day about these. I had to look up what she was asking me about but then realized I had seen the funny commercial for it. It would be fun to try.

I love both Eggnog and Sugar cookie from NG. Eggnog doesn't smell great OOB and I was reluctant to try it when I first got it but it is really really good.

Yes, You certainly do have to find people who appreciate what you sell. I can't compete with those who sell their wax melts a lot cheaper than mine. I don't even try. I know that mine are way better than what most stores offer. Once people try mine, they usually come back for more! Plus, they're impressed that I make them myself and appreciate that they can support handmade. Running a business can be so frustrating sometimes. It's so hard to see others selling the same things for super cheap when we put in so much hard work and testing to make great products. Keep on keeping on!
