  1. I haven't really run across a lot of people who wax bash like you guys have. I do have customers that have said, oh you use soy, it's so much better. And I let them know it's not better, just different. The reason I chose it is because it works for me and I love how it looks. I had someone the other day say that soy wax melts are better because they don't let off soot. I was like huh? I was so confused. I said I have never heard that being a problem with any type of wax melts since there's no wick.
  2. I've had it happen with a couple. One I can think of is Toasted Marshmallow from NG. I thought it was going to be way too light but it's amazing and lasts a long time in my wax melts. There's also a couple of them that I don't like the scent OOB but once in wax or another product, I love it.
  3. Wow! Those are the so beautiful!
  4. So, every time. EVERY TIME I have to restock fragrances, I add new ones. I don't need more but they're all so amazing. Seriously. I think to myself, I just need the ones I'm out of. but no, the new ones just end up in my cart. So now I have a couple new fragrances coming.
  5. They all look really great! Love all the colors!
  6. I do a ton of blending with my lip balm flavors and it's so much fun! I have just a couple of fragrance oils I've blended. It's been my goal for awhile to try more and more. It's nice to have products where I can say they can't get the exact same flavor/fragrance somewhere else. I've been slowly adding simpler fragrances so I can do some blending.
  7. haha! Most definitely! I do it all the time. And the funny thing is that my kids do it too! They'll smell something and tell me I need that for my shop. I'm just starting to play with blending fragrances.
  8. Looks like a productive day! They all look great.
  9. Yes, they were available at several places online. Just google it and you'll find it. Kinda pricey if you want to buy a lot.
  10. I haven't ordered from them in a long time but I've been wanting to order again. I really like their warmers but ordering from them can be a pain because they don't show what the shipping charges are going to be. I do not like how this was handled! I usually give a company the benefit of the doubt when I see others posting bad reviews but that is insane. I'm going to have to look for another supplier I guess. Money is money. As a business owner, bigger orders are obviously exciting to have but it's all the small orders that add up. If those companies lost all of us "little" guys, they would definitely feel it.
  11. I don't masterbatch with soap but I do make master batches of my lip balm base and solid lotion base. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to master batch my body butter and sugar scrubs or even how to do it. lol
  12. So I did some digging and found those containers. They're called unzipped glass bowl. I love a good google challenge. The scent of the soap is Tinsel from NG. It's such an awesome fragrance. I've been commissioned to make another whole loaf of it by someone so I'll take pictures of it. Thanks for all the compliments on the soap!
  13. Sounds like a big weekend! I have my first fair of the season on saturday. I really don't want to do it since I'm so busy with online orders. I have shows the next 3 saturdays and then a weekend off and then a huge all weekend show the first weekend of December. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by it all.
  14. Every year I think that I will finally make some firestarters to sell but I haven't. I made some a couple of years ago and had people test them and they really liked them. The ones I made aren't as fancy as yours.
  15. I saw the title of the post and I was like hey, that's me! lol. I LOVE it! I don't mind at all. That container is so unique and awesome. I'm so happy that you like the soap so much! I haven't made a nice soap loaf like that in awhile. I need to get some motivation to make more. Your compliments help a lot. I think it's awesome you decided to keep it for yourself. Thank you for sharing it!
  16. Wow! Those are all wonderful! Love them. I've made firestarters but haven't tried to sell them yet.
  17. What a sweet post about your son! Welcome Justin! Thanks in advance for working with us!
  18. Oh my goodness! lol. I'm glad you were able to save most of it. If mine had a spigot, I'm sure I would have done it more than once by now.
  19. candlewarmers must have changed their minimums. They used to just require 6 of each type of warmer you bought.
  20. I also get mine from candlewarmers.com. They require a business license to buy wholesale from them. I love their warmers but haven't purchased for a long time. Like Belinda said, it's a big cost upfront. They usually go pretty quick for me though since I rarely have them in stock.
  21. I use all soy and have very strong wax melts in a lot of fragrances. I've only had a small amount not be as strong as I'd like.
  22. Hmmm, that sounds good! I haven't seen anything but as soon as I read it, I thought about NG's Pumpkin Apple Butter and their Apple Jack N Peel. I have those ones on hand. I have other pumpkins too that might work.
