  1. I too have been out of the game for a few years, I got a few samples poured recently and so far what I poured has been fine. I used FO samples from CS and CBL 130 from CW. I have some older FO that I use for myself, and it was good. I don't know about phthalates, maybe it does affect some.
  2. @Ruruthat jar!!!!! I think it is lovely!!
  3. I use the CW CBL 130 and even though I only dabble now, it really is sad that it is oos, I need to make some gifts for a road trip in July. I might switch back to 6006. @bfroberts I never had an issue with the wax pulling away from the jar. The wax itself made nice candles, and it said it was close to J300 which I had used in the past.
  4. What about this place, her oils say to use .50 oz FO per LB of wax. I have used a lot of the scents and they are remarkable. https://candlecocoon.com/
  5. @Sarah S I wonder if they mean that the CW blends are cheaper than other waxes? I guess also maybe they won't tell anything because they do not want to give up secret formulas. Oh boy, it's crazy isn't it.
  6. One time a supplier sold vanilla voodoo, maybe it was NG. That might be a little dark. Another on that is good, and you could change the name, is CC sultry angel, I love this but it could be a dark scent. maybe call it Fallen Angel. Love everyone's ideas too.
  7. CW is oos a lot, especially when they announce a sale, this has been going on for years.
  8. I think she did have a forum, miss the good old days.
  9. I haven't used 6006 lately, but I used LX's in it when I did. But here is my theory, batches of wax and oils for that matter are very inconsistent, so depending on the batch, the weather, the pouring conditions, etc. I think that it will never be 100% perfect all the time. You can drive yourself crazy with wax/wick combos. I would just test away til I found the best combination and go with that. There will be fragrances that you have used for years and one day, BAM, its not working like before. Good Luck though, the struggle is real.
  10. I think Doreen but it has been so long, she was great.
  11. So years ago I purchased this fragrance called wind dancer, but cannot remember or find out what company it came from. Is anybody familiar with this FO? TIA
  12. I miss WYW, that lady was so nice. was is Doreen? her name
  13. I am interested, I use their cbl 130 now and love it!!
  14. . @Trappeur Is this is good bourbon scent, I have tried for years to find a great bourbon/whiskey oil? Karen
  15. I always loved LS Hawaiian breeze, not even sure if they still make it. Hollyberry, carmel apple, sleighbells was good too. I believe they did discontinue that one ☹️
  16. have used these: Pears and berries-good passionate kisses-loved this berry crème brulee-strong, blow your socks off honeysuckle vine-nice floral magenta nectar-my favorite, never sold well though
  17. My personal favorite for Christmas is LS sleighbells, but I think that was discontinued. Other Christmas favs are: any cinnamon scent, LS Hollyberry, LS candycane ICS cranberry orange spice ICS baked apples I used ti have have a sugar plum scent too, but I can't remember where that came from?
  18. I love anything cinnamon, I will have to try that broom one someday.
  19. Gourd and Cornucopia, that sounds interesting! I love CS pomegranate cider, it never sold for me, but I loved it.
  20. I am still missing Heartfelts Rocky Mountain Pine, remember that one from years ago? The best!!!
  21. These are the ones I love, and have used a lot: Classic Cinnamon Buns Blueberry Cheesecake Pink Sugar Baked Apples Cranberry Orange Spice Holiday Cookie
  22. I would think that if the primed wicks were stored in extreme heat, they would melt together. A mouse once got into my candle room, he ate some wax, it was chewed on by the edge. LOL
  23. Yes some Fragrances just don't work, I have had a couple that did that, never would mix in. I also have a couple oils that I have had to add stearic in when blending, someone told me it would help, so I tried adding it and it did help the fragrance oil blend into the melted wax.
  24. I have never experienced bubbles in 6006, but I only use 6-6.5 % FO.
