  1. I used to get my Patchouli from Moonworks and now since they closed I get it from FB. That's the closest one I could find that doesnt smell perfumy.
  2. I agree with Moonstar, CS Cranberry Marm is better IMO. I use that one also.
  3. Amish Harvest Fresh Brewed Coffee Birthday Cake Red Clove In the process of ordering samples from others and run tests on all of them ASAP. I will share my findings, if anyone uses the same oils.
  4. This is awful, now I have to try to find 2 of my favorites I got from them. Their fresh brewed coffee and amish harvest were the best. Back to testing other companies for at least those 2 anyway...
  5. That's so funny you say that I just had a customer tell me my birthday cake tarts remind her of play dough haha. With that in mind I gave them a whiff and sure enough that's what it reminded me of also. Since then I switched to Peaks and it doesn't seem to have that play dough smell to it after I placed it in wax.
  6. I too was able to purchase a huge amount of PB to get me through and I started testing the Golden Brands 416 tart wax. I'm finding it doesn't seem as hard as the PB and it has a matt finish on the top, not the shiny tops the PB gave me. Anyway the struggle I've been having is the frosting, it frosts terribly. So that's where I'm at right now, trying to use this wax but get rid of the frosting. Oh I also noticed if you add some PB to it, it comes out nicer without frosting but that's obviously not an option. I was hoping to find others that use the 416 tart wax to help me out but nobody has answered my thread, I guess nobody else uses that wax so maybe I should move on to another wax to test.
  7. Hoping someone that uses Golden Brands 416 tart wax can help me out here. I started testing this wax due to the new PB is still not out yet. My opinion, that was a poor business decision on their end. Anyway this 416 wax is frosting terribly for me. I have tried pouring at different temperatures, tried adding coconut oil and still having frosting issues. My next step is adding some candle wax to it maybe? If you're familiar with this wax and can give me any tips it would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I'm curious, do you mean the Golden Brand 416? Hasen't that wax been around for awhile or am I missing something? I just purchased 10# of that one from CS to try it and thought it was the new wax to replace the Ecosoy PB, but now after reading so many reviews on the 416 I'm under the impression it has been around since last year. I have my 416 wax melting now and hoping for good results.
  9. I just purchased a 10lb bag of Golden wax tart wax from CS and I'm going to start some test burns. I'm down to my last couple boxes of ecosoya PB and I have a feeliing I better find a replacement as soon as I can. This is truly upsetting :-(
  10. So is Golden wax melt and tart wax the new ecosoya pb?
  11. I have customers that buy my bags of melts and use them in the cups that came with their yankee warmer. They recieved the warmers for Christmas and didn't like how expensive the containers were to continue purchasing them through yankee so they tried putting my melts in the cups and it worked great.
  12. I'm hoping the new stuff works just as nice too. They said late March, its late March now... and in the mean time my stock is getting lower. Is there even a soy wax simular to the ecosoya pb?
  13. This has me super curious. Theres nothing better smelling..well...umm puppy breath is up there too, but horse is amazing! I alway kiss mine on the muzzle and sniff haha.
  14. Great question! The only one I found that I use as a blender is Peaks Coconut Milk.
  15. No kidding? I was floored by the article, thanks for sharing your information. I had no idea, never heard this story before.
  16. Not sure if I'm doing this correctly but I wanted to share a story I read yesterday on facebook about an amish man arrested by the FDA for mislabeling his salve he makes and sells. I couldn't find anything while reserching this case that is was false. http://www.icontact-archive.com/NGPZGNZ0MsM61WcVJ3rpFviZsxzbA9ul?w=4#.WLIrlYEZTGw.facebook
  17. I use JS base and mix with distilled water and fragrance oil modifier from RE. I've used that for 10 years now with great results. It's $8.95 for a bottle that makes a gallon. The modifier makes the room spray crystal clear.
  18. I only tried Lemon Verbena from RE and CS and the CS was the stonger throw in C3 wax for me. I'm really wanting to try the Lemon Curd on my next order though. Love lemon scents!
  19. I use C3 and pour at slushy stage, but I use CD wicks. Did this candle go out on its own?
  20. My favorite is still Pumpkin Pecan Waffles from FB, but really been loving Peaks Amish Harvest. I just rename it during the off season. Now you guys have me curious to trying RE Lemon Curd, it sounds like one I would like also.
  21. I agree with Dnj, out of all the one's I've tried CS is the one I went with.
  22. Welcome aboard! So mant things to read, and I learn something new everytime I browse around on here. haha.
