  1. Very pretty Maryann, I like the one with the most colors best.
  2. Rose water does well in the body butter recipe I use water in, with no additional rose scent needed. I have not tried it in soap. The Cortas brand is fabulous and a lot of regular grocery stores sell it in their ethnic food section. You are right Blazerina, it goes through a very carefully monitered distillation that pulls the rose fragrance into the water.
  3. Sometimes mine crack in the winter, if I use too much beeswax in them. I have to back down on it in the winter and I up it back up in the summer. Not sure about the wicking, if those 2 wicks are gonna do the trick. Myself, I would try a large single wick. But if that is all you have, and it is poured already, I would give it a try and see what it does. That is what learning to make candles is all about right? Testing and experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. Best of luck to you!
  4. Beautiful AJ, love the swirled, but my favorite was the plain castille, gorgeous!
  5. There are several places that sell metal molds for M&P, like tubes and such.
  6. Just do a search for "heart dish" it has been discussed many times about the wicking. It will give you some ideas. This dish really needs to be triple wicked to burn correctly.
  7. I have seen them at several craft stores.
  8. I think that last I heard she was going take orders and fill only 4 times a year. A lot of stuff she still has stock on as well and you can still get.
  9. LOL! I agree, they look great..... I kept settling on a base recipe, but kept ending up changing it, always have that urge to tweek it.....to get it a little bit better.
  10. I am with you....I started with the 32 and went back to 16 bar molds. The soap is beautiful, can't wait to see it cut.
  11. Not sure it says "honeysuckle", but it is a beautiful color and very nice looking soap.
  12. I have not seen them at Lonestar, but have seen them at Taylored Concepts. However I can't find them on their site.
  13. Very cute looking...has a great funky look to it, nice job!
  14. Beautiful soap Brenda.....love the blue!
  15. They look great Ashlie, very nice for your firsts. I agree with Eugenia, that oiliness will probably sink back into the soap and it will be fine. Congrats!
  16. I am not big on herbs in my soaps, but those are very nice, great job!
  17. I think they look great, especially for a 2nd batch. Nice job on the swirl too.
  18. Why are mixing the 2 together, is there something you are trying to eliminate or achieve? The 415 is a pretty good throwing wax on it's own. Don't have an answer to your question because I have never tried the 115. But in answer to the title of your post, the KY125 is 415 with cottonseed oil in it, if I remember correctly, and the 415 does not. I haven't dabbled in my candles lately, but I think that is right.
  19. Very nice, great job, love the blue.
