  1. I don't have a picture for you, but what it looks like is itty bitty snowflakes in patches on the candle. It isn't so desireable in soy container candles, but people work to get something similar to it in paraffin pillars, it is called mottling then.
  2. Those are very pretty...hope you do well with them.
  3. Palm wax can be a real pain to work with. After you pour it, while it is cooling, you need to poke relief holes in the top of your candles, and keep them open while it is cooling. If you don't you could end up with air pockets in your candles. In my jar, I would poke 4 in the top and keep them open periodically during cooling, then once cooled all the way, I would hit it with the heatgun just briefly to melt the top a bit and get it to run down in the holes to fill up any caverns that might be there, and the relief holes. Everyone has their own method of working with palm, so you just need to find what works best for you. To me, there were to many pains with palm, so I gave up on it, but a lot of people have mastered it and love it.
  4. I get mine at KY Candle wax supply, they are pretty reasonable. I only use mine in my EZsoy at about 3%, much more than that and it makes the wax crack, especially in the winter.
  5. I am thinking about this mold. I think when the cutting tool is finished, I will not be able to resist.
  6. It is very pretty and a neat idea. It almost looks like pepperoni's on the top.
  7. Those are very pretty, very transluscent, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of wax did you use?
  8. I have (2) 16 bar Misty Creek molds and love them. I also have 3 Target Store wood organizer boxes that I use for logs. I don't think Target sells them anymore. I prefer my Misty Creek molds, because I love to make colors and swirls, and for me they just do better in those. I use the log mold for soaps for my husband because it makes a little bit bigger bar, and it is easier for my husband to hold in his hands.
  9. Nice job on the swirls, bet they smell wonderful!
  10. Those are very cute, love the duckie ones.
  11. Thanks Jennifer, I am putting it on my list for my next order from them. I am contemplating a chocolate covered cherry soap in my future.
  12. Very cool looking Jennifer. I love that red color, what kind of coloring did you use for that? Thanks for reposting it, it was worth the wait.
  13. I really like the swirls, and don't think the ash is that bad. I do remove mine, but with everything, it is a personal preference. Just curious though, did you use rice bran in this recipe?
  14. Very subtle but very pretty swirls!
  15. Awesome bath bombs! They rock....errr, look as hard as rocks. LOL!
  16. I have tried explorer and opera and neither of them will let me see. I really wanted to see that RED color.
