  1. I wouldn't use zincs in that soy, CD's are a better choice. Good luck with your testing.
  2. One of my favorite man scents. Nice green ya got there.
  3. Advantages of palm.....hmmmm......they have pretty effects, like the feathering. My opinion is that even though it is pretty, it is a PITA to wick and it is one of those waxes that you need to babysit as it sets up, and poke relief holes in it, because it is notorious for hidden caverns. I also don't think it throws as well as some of the other waxes. Many places carry it, it just depends on where you live and what you are looking for. HTH.
  4. I am really digging some new Jasmine that I got from OT, as a new spring soap scent. It is on my to do list for next weekend.
  5. Mine did well with HTP73 or 83. The first burn should be about an hour and a half. I also wouldn't judge it on the first burn. If it gets close on the first burn, a lot of times it will catch up on the next couple of burns and the remaining wax will melt off the sides. You want to use the smallest wick possible to get the job done, so you are not overheating the votive holder. You always want to burn them in a tight fitting votive cup.
  6. Beautiful stuff....love the rustics.
  7. I also sell mine for $1.00 an ounce, and have no problem selling them, and get many repeat customers. My packaging is pretty inexpensive, so I make a nice amount on each bar.
  8. Those are very stunning...awesome job! Wish I had that talent.
  9. Wow, those are beautiful Val. How much???
  10. I sold mine last year for $12.00 with no problem.
  11. I just do the 'ole drop on the garage floor thing, works well for me.
  12. Very nice for your first ball candle, keep up the good work.
  13. I think it would be wonderful chunked up or shreaded into a new batch of soap. I have not soaped coconut milk before, someone told me that the Guar Gum in it would screw up my batch. I really haven't researched it too much, but I would in the near future and try it out in a batch.
  14. I agree #2 looks most like bubbles, the other two kinda remind me of coconut. Nice job on them.
  15. I wasn't impressed with too many of the AXE scents, loved Touch. Your soaps are gorgeous though, great job!
  16. Very nice....it looks much nicer than mine did and prolly smells better too. I wasn't happy with my banana experience, but may try again soon.
  17. I just started making beaded jewelry last year. I had to have something that didn't take up as much space as my candle and soap supplies, LOL!
  18. Awesome job Brat! Is there any craft that you don't do? LOL! My favorite has to be the boot purse though.
  19. The Leather from Lonestar is great in soy.
  20. They are very pretty. I agree, they look like decorated cookies. Nice job!
