  1. It does look very nice, and you can see hints of pink in it still.
  2. try this one..... http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14226&highlight=mayonaise
  3. Not you Bunny, you wouldn't do anything like that! But I can just picture you standing there with the fire extinguisher, LMAO! Glad you got everything under control before you caught the house on fire.
  4. It has been some time since I poured palm, but I believe you can melt it back down and re-pour as you did before and it should set up with the same feather look to it.
  5. Too bad they didn't stay red/pink, but they still look good. Not sure I want to use the co-op colors myself now, without trying them all out in a sample batch first.
  6. I ditto what Meridith said, that has also been my experience.
  7. Sometimes I wipe them out with a little Goo Gone.
  8. I think they look great, nothing wrong with the colors.
  9. Beautiful, love the swirls, and bet it smells delish!
  10. If you learn the trick to using the wicks, they are great wicks and you can use them to your advantage.
  11. to me it looks like the Strahl and Pitsch wax ..... I have used it before and it has that crystally look to the top and the palm look to the sides of it. I am pretty sure it is the SP487P. http://www.spwax.com/datasht.htm
  12. Beautiful soaps Brenda, and the second one, that is what my soaps look like a lot of times and they still turn out great.
  13. Beautiful swirls Bunny....love the blue! Like the stamper too, but also think it would be cool to do it in the color of the swirl in the soap. Nice job!
  14. They look very nice. You can get even richer and more red looking by adding a little orange to your color, it helps take away that "pink" color that red by itself seems to have in soy.
  15. Wow, looks like a real glass of wine, great job Sharyl
  16. Very nice soaps, love the red/pink color.
  17. I know that this has kinda been a topic of conversation in the candle section before, but I have noticed this as well with the soaps that I have sold. I really have noticed that it is not so much the color that sells my soap, as does the scent. Because I label and band my bars, a lot of times customer doesn't even see the sometimes beautiful swirls. But they are constantly picking them up and sniffing them all, then sniffing them again.
  18. SW sells a green tea leaf powder that is a nice green. I just got it so I haven't had a chance to try it in soap.
  19. I haven't put it in anything yet, but Macaroon from SW is wonderful OOB. Coconut Milk from Peak to me is pretty nice in soy.
  20. I agree, despite the problems you had, I think all 3 of them look great. I think you did the best with what you had to work with.
