  1. Well I can tell you the Pine scent is a very realistic pine smell, NO pinesol scent what so ever, and its very strong! The Pumpkin Spice is a very spicy scent but I don't detect alot of pumpkin scent just a whole lot of spice. Yes the CCC is very strong, as for the others I haven't tried those so be sure to post your results after you test them! Kim is a wonderful person to work with too!
  2. I know you already decided on FOH so I was just going to reinforce the other FOH votes here, LOL...CCC from FOH is super duper strong and smells really good!
  3. For a Vanilla scent I would recommend Just Scent also, Becky is the Queen of Vanilla fragrances. It is her absolute favorite scent out there so you know what vanilla scents she has are going to be the best. She even has a Sampler pack of all her Vanilla scents (and she has alot of them). You could order a sampler and decide which scent you like best.
  4. I'm not familiar with 'Red Currant' so I don't know if this is the same but Just Scents Captivatingly Currant is awesome! Super strong in soy and in lotions.
  5. I second Fragrance by Design! Its an awesome oil.
  6. I second (or third) the liquid soap from Millcreek! Its awesome, its white and creamy-not a clear gel and oils mix great into it...I love that stuff!
  7. No your not Vicky, she is talking about the Pumpkin Pie Special (in the closeouts) This is the one that has been discontinued, it was a big hit and many are very disappointed its gone! madebymelanie, if you do a search in the fragrance section you will find a bazillion pumpkin pie threads, its a very hot topic this time of year! LOL
  8. I have had the tin tealight cups catch on fire in my burners before. It has happened on two different occasions. These were just tealights I had purchased from a local discount store. I believe the reason they caught fire was because the small amount of wax towards the bottom of the burn just gets way to hot and the wax in the tin just combusts. There was nothing in these like old wick clippings..heck, the wicks in these tea lights are so dang small I don't believe there is even any thing to trim if you are between burns.
  9. If you have a website maybe you can send her a gift certificate for your site...that way she can get a new candle and who knows maybe she would order more also!
  10. Wow, thanks for the great reviews CB!
  11. I can't really answer your temp question but I can tell you as far as I am aware, the Ezsoy and GB415 are the same wax just that EZsoy is a private label name for BCN.
  12. Right on Doris, I was just looking over his site too and saw all the 'sold out' notes! This is a complete joke!
  13. Do you know if this smells like the Pink Peppercorn from Just Scent? That one is awesome, wondering if they are the same?
  14. When you have wax that 'grows' like that it is usually due to a drastic change in temperatures. I've had this happen to my soy candles before.
  15. Yes the WT is one awesome scent isn't it?! I was also disappointed when I saw it was being discontinued but I started sniffing some oils to find something close and came up with this, how about mixing some Sage sweetgrass & cedar (bnl's at bcn) with some Groovy Patchouli from Millcreek? It won't be an exact but it does give a close wet woods, earthy, dirt type scent...might be worth a try.
  16. - Oatmeal, Milk and Honey (I've only smelled a couple and they were too almondy which I don't like) - Love Spell TENNESSEE has the absolute best lovespell - Apple Pie If you would like something a litte different JUST SCENT'S apple butter is out of this world good! - Grandma's Kitchen (Bakery & Spice) TRY JUST SCENT-SHE HAS A FEW REALLY STRONG SCENTS ALONG THIS LINE but Millcreek has some good ones too - Ocean/Water scent - Lavender (or some kind of lavender blend) BELIEVE IT OR NOT BCN'S LAVENDER IS VERY REAL SMELLING AND VERY STRONG IN SOY HTH!
  17. AH/RE has a White Sage that is really good. Yes it is herbally smelling but it may work for you if you can't find an absolute pure sage.
  18. I use CD's. I've found out of the HTP's, Cottons and CD's, the CD's are the best. This is in the 415.
  19. Yep, I've tried a couple of others and the strongest I found was BCN!
  20. Absolutely right on CarolK! To say a tart that has 'considerably less' cold throw over time is a properly CURED tart is ridiculous! I know I sure wouldn't be shooting for tarts with LESS cold throw--nope---I'd be going for the strong cold throw over time!
  21. That is a beautiful website, very professional looking! Your pictures are wonderful! I personally wouldn't have a link to CT for customers to come over here and read our forums tho...CT is here for the candle MAKER not the customers! Nice job!
  22. I have had to really wick up on the SA&P in pure soy. It has been a bugger to try to get to burn well. And yes, these are so strong you can definitely cut back on oil especially with This Old House...its almost too strong (if that's possible, lol)!
  23. Now that's a beautiful website! Very professional looking. Great job!
