  1. Funny, I have tried and tested both Cactus & Sea Salts from ICS and JS and I have found these results: A. JS smells wayyyy wayyy better OOB, ICS has some weird chemical scent to it. B. JS smells alot stronger in lotion and doesn't have that chemical smell the ICS one has, which I do pick up in the lotion with the ICS scent. C. JS throws so much stronger in pure soywax than the ICS one. D. The JS scent burns a whole lot cleaner in my soy than the ICS did, the ICS scent left a lot of soot on my jar for some odd reason. E. In cp soap and salt bars the JS scent is out of this world GOOD! The ICS didn't fair to well as its not very strong, and it also just doesn't smell as good. I can't even try and pass these off as the same scent in soap as the ICS is just so much weaker and has a weird smell to it in comparison, side by side with the JS one. Overall, the JS scent has a better, cleaner smell to it where as I think the ICS scent smells more like a cheap perfume smell. Now I will agree they smell very similar but like I said, ICS' has a cheap smell to it, along with that funky chemical smell. I was really hoping the ICS would be comparable just for the price factor, myself, but that's not the case, I will have to stick with the JS C&SS.
  2. That is gorgeous colors! I love it! How about tutti fruitti? Don't know if that was already suggested, and I don't know what the scent smells like so just throwing that out there! LOL
  3. Holy cow! I'm speechless! Just plain gorgeous!
  4. Ooohhhh, I like that! Very cool looking!
  5. Oh man, now I want a strawberry cheescake ice cream cone! Thanks! The candles look really nice too!
  6. Scented, those are very pretty, unique looking rustics! When I look at them they remind of 'furniture' patterns and colors that were popular back in the 80's! LOL!
  7. LOL! Yes they do look similar to rhubarb, but they look just like Nibs candy to me! (well of course nibs are all red) You can always drop the green and make them solid red and you now have nibs candy!
  8. Nice job! They look so real! Great coloring!
  9. Wow, now these are mouth watering! They look so real and those colors are so true to the real thing! Very hard to tell they aren't real. You did a fantastic job!
  10. Well, at first look I was kinda thinkin' 'where's the egg nog all i'm seeing is vanilla pudding'! I guess it just looks to yellow to be the egg nog I've seen and drank for years! Other than that, it looks good, the color just doesn't cut it for me!
  11. Welcome! Your candles look awesome! Nice job!
  12. I think I like the look but I don't like the underline nor the quotation marks on the scent name. It's distracting and they don't need to be there. Otherwise I like the clean look of the label.
  13. Kimmeroo, Here's a link to all the FO suppliers so you can find each of the different suppliers mentioned here. HTH! http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5492
  14. NG's Autumn Magic is really different, has that mysterious soft side to it. Or how about a sandalwood scent, maybe sandalwood vanilla? ETA: Ok we were posting at the same time when we both mentioned sandalwood!!! LOL
  15. Don't know about the Rhubarb one but the Cranberry Fig is really good in soy and so is the Santa Spruce. My favorite from there is the Ginger Souffle but its now a 10# special order only. Their Pink Sugar is my favorite PS of all that I have tried and I've tried many. Its just the perfect combination of sweet and musky, not heavy on one or the other like so many others. HTH
  16. Yes, I find that too in certain scents. Its weird how you can have a perfect melt pool but a tiny little flame.
  17. OK, think about what YOU just said! Did I say "months" in my post? Did I say "weeks ago"? NO I didn't! JS changes her prices out on some of the oils on a WEEKLY BASIS! Just start paying attention to her price list and get your head out of her butt! You might realize this! And who the heck said anything about when the supplier has to re-order? Now, a little touchy aren't we? Edited to add:Oh, and my prices on my candles don't change weekly or monthly either! In fact I've been able to keep the prices pretty steady, as I like to try and do that for my customers who I appreciate! Also, my other suppliers prices have been pretty much the same across the board! No discontinueds, no oil price increases really, pretty much the same ol' same ol' as far as pricing! Wax has been the only issue, but its been that way for everyone.
  18. Well IMO, I hate the moving photos too, it just bugs me. They JUMP out at you, they move way to fast, it totally goes against the rest of the look of your site, meaning it just doesn't fit the site to me. I don't really understand why you are trying to showcase your products with that thing but I would X out of your site if I happened upon it. You may think this is a rude way of giving my opinion but I don't think it is, its just being honest with how I feel about what I'm seeing on your site. I am also one of those who would NEVER order from a site that doesn't have an address and phone number listed and if I have to start searching for it on the site and looking on every page, I'm out of there! Nothing irks me more than not listing those. It screams, "I'm unethical, I can steal your money and you will never find me"! If you are a legit business why hide where you are and not give customers a phone number to reach you? Now, those Rustics are awesome! I love the colors of them.
  19. That's ok, I would love to find that scent too!
