  1. ICS is very good but found The Candlesource PS even better.
  2. ICS Mango Papaya...great in m&p and doesn't morph.
  3. If you live in a very warm climate and the box was out in heat (this has happened to me), it can melt somewhat and make it oily. Otherwise, it should be dry...call the supplier and see if they might exchange the case or give suggestions on how best to work with it. You might try adding 10% more PB and see if that helps keep it from sticking to the clamshells.
  4. With either one, add fo at 185* (little less for citrus), stir 2 minutes then pour...for me, great tops every time. They're both good waxes to work with that offer great ct/ht...comes down to a matter of preference.
  5. I haven't smelled BBW LC so I don't know, but the fo is from CS and I love it!
  6. It's been so warm here that I thought I would get a jump start on some Spring/Summer scents. This is what I've done today... Cucumber Kiss Happy Hour (Sex on the Beach) Lavender Chamomile Vanilla Lime Coconut Pear Orange Chiffon Cake Enjoy your weekend!
  7. Let the candles set up for 24 hours before covering...TallTayl is right, you will notice a difference
  8. I too, use C3 and love it....but for me, I use an 8.5% fo load (any higher, and I have seepage issues) and I'm very happy with ct/ht. I use CDNs and Premiers with C3 and prefer to let candles cure 2 weeks for optimum ht...hth.
  9. The soaps are beautiful...I love your labels!
  10. Love the swirls...one of my favorite scents
  11. Tempering C3 will eliminate the bubble issue.
  12. Rule of thumb is usually 1oz pp and go from there...for me with soy, I use 8.5% with good results.
  13. I love AHRE's oils...have used them for a few years with no issues. They are right up there with CS and Peak imo...hth.
  14. They don't offer free samples with any purchase now...must spend certain $$ amount and selection is very limited
  15. Blackberry Sage and Cranberry Citrus are great fragrances and throw well in soy and soypara.
  16. Hi Dave...I've been using C3 for a few years now and love it (I also use a soypara). There are a few things you can try to improve the texture and look of C3, one being tempering the wax. There are quite a few threads on it and it definetely makes the wax smoother and creamier. Many people pour C3 at a higher temp which enables them to get a smooth top. Some like myself, pour much cooler to avoid frosting issues. I choose to do a repour to fill in any sink holes and get great tops. I've never prewarmed jars...by pouring C3 cooler, you get excellent adhesion and virtually no wetspots. I pour when a slight skin starts to appear on top of wax, around 120*. You can also try adding a little USA (universal soy additive) to lessen frosting and improve texrure. Keep in mind that there are some fo's that will always cause frosting, but for the most part, by tempering the wax and pouring much cooler you can eliminate it with C3. HTH
  17. Your prices are already incredibly low and with all the ink needed for the labels, imo the 3 for $5 is enough of a price break.
  18. There is a great thread on Fragrance Twins...Im unable to post the link because Im computer illiterate lol
