I'm local to them, and have purchased fragrances onsite. I was very pleased with them all. Honestly, I don't think they get enough attention. Maybe it's due to shipping costs? No idea on that.

I've only sampled the 3020, and the throw is great! I've tried to find tech data on it, but didn't have much luck. So I was curious what temps others use. I've seen posts in the past on the 3022, but haven't tried it. I can't even get a call back :/. But they're local to me, so hoping to hear back on pricing and such!

For any of you that have tried the Clarus CSB Stasis 3020 and 3022, which one do you prefer and why? If anyone usesone or the other, at what temp do you add your FO and what temp do you pour? TIA

Last year I incorporated making Scent bead ornies in our Girl Scout Christmas party as a craft - big hit! I live in Texas where car temps in summer can get outrageously hot, and mine is still hanging strong! Of course almost a year later, the scent isn't. For those of you that make these, how long does your scent usually hold up?

There's a very popular chandler not far from me here in Texas that, I think, only sells portion cups calling them scent shots. She is a divine chandler anyway, but she sells a ton of them! So, I've just wondered how well they do for others in comparison to the clamshells.

Oh, and hung a few on Christmas tree, too. Just enough heat to set off the scent from the lights on the tree!

I've used the base from what is now Southwest. I like it ok, but it seems a bit heavy, like, it doesn't stay airborne long. The scent mixes well, and no one else has ever complained when testing it for me.

Do you use 2oz cups? Do you price them differently?

David, I think everything you laid out makes perfect sense. I started making candles three years ago (as a SAHM) with the hopes of eventually turning it into an income source. Invested quite a bit into supplies, pour after pour, test after test, trying to acheive my idea of perfection. Needless, to say, we are our own toughest critics; so most of my creations during that time were gifted (happy friends and family) Then, I started school, now have a part time job, while my candle making supplies sit and collect dust - there's not enough hours in the day, topping it off with three kids! I truly enjoy the candle making process, and attempting new things. It's just a matter of time vs money vs time and so on - if that makes sense? I hope I can one day get the opportunity to just go for it! Maybe, just maybe, the economy will turn around and allow me the chance to go at it again. It is my dream!
