  2. Suzy, the soap looks incredible...as do your store sites. Your product line has really grown and it all looks fantastic, you've been busy! I bet the Cranberry Orange soap smells amazing
  3. Roobios (great tea scent with excellent ht), Cranberry Yuzu, Summer Boardwalk, Sugar Corn Pudding, Sugared Spruce, Monkey Farts...all throw great in soy and parasoy candles and melts, hth. In soaps and b&b, love Frosted Snowdrops and Bamboo Sugarcane.
  4. A favorite is a blend of Pink Sugar, Sugar Cookie, Toasted Marshmellow, and Zucchini Bread....Monkey Farts with Zucchini Bread is really good too.
  5. IMO, the ECO's flames are large and meltpool is too deep...I like the flame of the CD14 and meltpool is more than satisfactory...hth.
  6. I have not used that wax but did play with 464 awhile back ago and use C3 now...imo, soy needs a higher % of fo pp than paraffin. I use 8.5% with C3 and I believe with 464 I used 1.5oz pp. I usually try to let them cure a full week before testing. With the 464, I used ECO's but with C3 prefer CDN's. Not all fo's will work well with soy...from CS ones that throw great for me are Macintosh, Xmas Hearth, Mistletoe, Pumpkin Souffle, Lime Cooler to name a few,..hth.
  7. Thanks for the reminder on safety...Ive always left mine on when I run errands or go to work, not anymore!
  8. AHRE Frosted Snowdrops and Bamboo Sugarcane...clean and fresh!
  9. I've always done well heating soy to 185*, remove from heat, add fo and stir 2 minutes. I slightly warm heavier fo's to help incorporate into wax...works well. For citrus fo's, I add at a lower temp-175*, to avoid getting the 'fuel' smell....hth.
  10. I'm assuming these are CS fo's...the Pom Cider, Crnbry Mar, Mac, Pumkn Souffle, Xmas Hearth, and Mistletoe throw great in soy. I like Ameretto Nog but for me, ht is medium...hth
  11. Went to your scentshop to take a look at your other soaps as well, you've been busy! They look great Suzy, you have alot to be proud of...your hard work shows!
  12. I use USA (not UA-thats for paraffin) it helps with frosting and looks of wax...I also like using a little bit of Coconut Oil, imo it makes the wax burn easier and more evenly. I tried using both together once and what a mess, so just use one or the other. If you're not coloring and the tops look good, I wouldn't add anything extra...why mess with a good thing lol! Two weeks is plenty of time to cure...just seems the longer a candle sits, sometimes better the ht.
  13. When I temper, I melt my wax at night...bring it to 185*, hold it there for a few minutes, then let it set for the night. Then when I was ready the next day, I would just heat back up to 185*, add fo and/or dye, stir, then pour at desired temp. For me, its a real time saver...hth.
  14. I've used C3 for a few years now and always use 8.5%. I would occassionally have seepage issues (you may have seen my earlier posts in '11 lol) but haven't had any problems with it at all since I started tempering and pouring cooler. I add fo at 185*, stir 2 minutes, pour when slight skin forms on top. On the occassion when I need to use a heat gun or do a repour, I always wait till the next day. Never failed that fo would seep if I did it same day as I poured. I cant say if tempering actually helps with seepage, but C3 behaves so much better when it is imo. hth
  15. Their Ginger Lime, Early Sunrise, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, and Peppermint Bark are some of my favorites and throw well in soy and parasoy...hth.
  16. I usually wait till the next day...always seemed to get seepage issues if I repoured within a few hours.
  17. Using USA and tempering the wax can really help to diminish frosting but it is time consuming...pouring at a lower temp helped me with C3 as well.
  18. I put 4625 on a cookie sheet into a prewarmed oven for a few minutes...slices easily!
  19. I use the dye chips from Peaks and CS...easy to work with, great color.
  20. You didn't mention the size of jar you are using but a CDN18 or 20 would be close to the 1312...hth
