    Chunky M & P

Dave- thank you so much, very thoughtful of you! We've had warm weather here in MN too, its not always a snowy tundra . I've gotten confused looking at all of the different bases and ingredients too- thank you for all of your information above!

    Chunky M & P

Dave- thank you for all of the information! I have not yet tried the bases from Candlewic, have tried many others but mainly the goal milk. I will have to try the coconut oil one now, didn't even think of considering this one! So many options out there too 7Pawz- your soap is so pretty with the imbeds, love the pink color!- I tried doing imbeds once and they all melted together when I did the overpour, so I obviously need to practice this more!
  3. So glad to read this thread! yes, I've been a "stirrer", and one of the reasons I was holding out on using my presto pot (yep, still in the box), because I was concerned about the temp going down when stirring. So, this weekend, ta-da, I will open the box and go forth with my continued testing! Always learning something here- love you guys!
  4. do you still need LBD? I have a 1 oz bottle, not used, in case you need any...
  5. Have you tried MMS's Coconut milk? I use it in lotion and it is very strong and long lasting. I don't do CP soap, and haven't tried it in m &P soap, but it's a nice strong fo- just passing along!
  6. Oh- at least you have a few to play with over the weekend!- yay! I have a bunch of 1 oz'ers from AH and Lonestar to test so hoping to be able to pour some over the long weekend...
  7. So sorry to hear of your run of bad luck, and hope its all behind you now. Glad you were able to order some fun stuff now- and yes, be sure to give some reviews (I'm going to have to check out Mad Oils, haven't ordered from them before- but trying to make myself get through the fo's I already have before ordering more, which never happens!)
  8. I love Peak's Cranberry Citrus, so strong, (it doesn't have any spice though) but throws very well...
  9. firestarters work great for leftover wax- I make a bunch of them from my leftover wax from melts, and they smell great at a campfire
  10. had to share, I am melting the Vanilla Cardomom- WOW, it is strong (I use palm/464 melts), love, love this scent, if you like vanillas, you will LOVE this fo! just saying
  11. I've been using one from Agilex, very strong, and I use it in melts (palm/464). let me know if you want a sniffy or sample...
  12. I LOVE SGS's Almond Milk and Honey.... wonderful scent and very strong...
  13. Sugared Vanilla Shortbread, Spiced Cider, Pumpkin Ginger Streusal, Butterscotch Pudding, Red apple peel- I liked those in my melts, not sure about soap yet... (wish I could order more, but I have vowed to get through my samples and current stash first, which doesn't usually happen!)
  14. I'm loving Pumpkin Chai, just enough spice, and not too sweet... gets me in the mood for fall!
  15. very cool! thanks for sharing!
  16. Oh this thread is making me laugh! I too need a super boost of your type A, Karen! I get anxious just looking at the stash of 1 oz'ers I have. I have the best intentions of sorting, organizing, getting them in wax, then my day job gets in the way!! (I think you should start a support group for 1 oz'er stashers, I would be the first to sign up!)
  17. thank you! and I have Black Rasp in my stash too, will try that out later today...
  18. I'm testing Mango fo from SC in lotion, it is really nice and long lasting. I'm feeling like I need to blend it with something though, and can't think what would mix well with Mango. Any suggestions of what to try?
  19. just placed my order (thank you fellow enablers!), but these do sound amazing! looking forward to trying them out next weekend.... ordered Lavender Pound Cake, Sugared Cronut, Coriander Rosewood, Nordic Spa, Oats and Honey, Vanilla Cardomom, Princess Jasmine, and Teak Bamboo. will be fun to try out some new fo's!
  20. I've used vanilla in aroma beads and it does soak up- probably depends on the oil. (mixed it with leather for a car freshener) I've had good luck with most of the oils I've used- not all are strong, but most will soak in.
  21. Oh I really should not have read this thread, just got orders from 4 others, so my budget's a little tight, but oh these do sound good.... sigh, heading over to their site now....
  22. I do have some of this fo, made by Agilex, feel free to pm me if you would like a sample...
