    Most times the wick mushrooms b/c you are using too large of a wick for the container in which you are burning. What size is your container? What size CD are you using?

    It does have a thermostat. From what I have read on the posts here it says it is hard to control the temp. I think that the one from linen n things is probably the better bet. I am not sure if that one has a spout though. I am thinking of investing in one as well and would love to know which would be the better bet.

    I am having the same problem with my lights. It is not enough to just secure the prongs inside the bottom but if there is only a way to better secure them that would be great.

    I am sure they will send you a new batch out as soon as possible if you let them know the problems you are having but in the mean time, have you tried using a dab of hot glue to keep them in their tabs? I wish you well.

    Still have some that are about a yr old and they still seem fine. I have not really noticed a difference in the way any of them burn or throw. I keep mine in the laundry room closet. It is cool and dark. Not sure if either of those matters more than the other,

    I am dying to know what is happening with your candles. Please let me know as soon as you get back. I ordered the 50/50 from Farmhouse and have yet to recieve but I talked to Sherrie and told her that I was aware of your issue and to pluleeze send me the good stuff! I will let you know as soon as I test burn the first batch!!!

    Lx's and Cd's soot crazy in the 4630 but I have heard that the zinc works fairly well.

    Well just to give you a heads up, if you ever pour lovespell I would not do any other scents at the same time because LS will gag you enough by itself! I hate the way it smells but my customers love it. I have some lovespell candles to make for a show next Sat and Sun and I cannot bring myself to do it.

    I love Farmhouse and Just Scents for their wax and fo's. I have also started ordering fo's from TriState Candle Co. BTW.....I got snowy pine in ladies from Farmhouse and it does smell wonderful!!!! Just like having a fresh cut christmas tree in the house.

    I love the 50/50 blend from Farmhouse or JS. It is a one pour and it burns nice and clean. It works great with CD's and zinc (even though I do not like zinc much!) I am not a fan of the 4630 because it soots too bad with the wicks I like to use. I recommend trying a couple of different slabs and seeing which one you like best. Good Luck!

    I use this wax and it does soot if you do not keep your wicks trimmed down at all times! Sherrie at Farmhouse suggests using zinc with this wax but I hate the way they mushroom so I stick to the CD's and I just keep my wicks trimmed down every time I burn and they do fine. Good Luck!

    With a votive I am sure 3 hrs is plenty. Did the love spell gag you to death?? That is my most hated scent to pour!!! Great seller though!

    There are a lot of people here who use the turk and surf as well as the presto pot. You can search either one and read up to see which one suit you best.     Ok...I talked to Sherrie today at Farmhouse and I place an order for a case of 50/50, I usually get it from C&S and wanted to try her since I have heard rave reviews about them. Anyway....Sherrie said that she likes the zinc wicks with the 50/50 and has never tried anything else with it. I thought it was comparable to the 1275 and she said it was pretty close...so has anyone used this blend with CD's? I really do not want to switch to zinc but I also do not want any issues with it. Oh and I also ordered some snowy pine to see if it is as wonderful as ya'll said.
