  1. Tealights are a pain in the neck to pour. What suggestions does anyone have to make this an easier task.
  2. I am looking to buy a larger melting pot. I want to melt 20-30 lbs at a time. Any suggestions of where to look.
  3. I am looking to buy a larger melting pot. I want to melt 20-30 lbs at a time. Any suggestions of where to look.
  4. For the first time I have purchased a spool of wick. To my surprise it came unwaxed. Do I need to wax them when I cut the wicks to length and how do I do this. I would greatly appreciate someones help on this.
  5. Does anyone know where I can purchase tart melters wholesale. In particular I am looking for the clear glass bowl style that sits over the tealight.
  6. LOL, I have been trying to find the same thing for a joke on someone too. I was thinking of draining the oil from a can of sardines and mixing it with the wax. Do you think that would work?
  7. I wasn't impressed with any of the scents that I tried from MC. Love Spell being one of them. I just ordered Love Spell from BC and should be testing it next week. I will post a result.
  8. It is 3 3/4" at the widest. It tapers down to 3". I am currently using Gw 444 with maple scent no colour. I will be trying GW 464 soon. I have not let one burn all the way I will try that. I have let it burn up to 8 hrs at a time. I am new at this so I appreciate you advice thank you. I really don't want to double wick for this project.
  9. I have a 16 oz jar that I really like but I can't seam to get it to burn to the edge. I am using cotton core 62-52-18 wick. I am just learning about this. What is the next size up or should I be using a different kind.
  10. Thanks for the links. I think I will try it. To Talie, I am in Sault Ste. Marie. I don't think I am set up right in this forum as I seem to have some limitations. I will try and fix that. I am new here so I am still learning my way around. You are correct about not many of us around. I had to start making my own soy candles because no one else around here made them or even heard about them. I am having alot of fun with this.
  11. Where can I find this stuff. Can you give me a link.
  12. Do you find BCN oils better than MC. I tried MC Vermont Maple and I found it weak as well as the rest of the oils I recieved. I am looking for a FO supplier.
  13. I live in Northern Ontario and I want to make citronella bug repellant candles. I want to do them with soy so that they are non toxic and can be burned in the motorhome. Is this possible. Anyone have any suggestions
  14. I am looking for a maple/maple syrup scent. Who has the best one.
