I am glad that I found you all to talk to.... I am going to order some and see how I like it. I really do not mind the frosting, my biggest thing is the scent throw both hot and cold. I want to still be able to offer my customers a great smelling candle that burns even and clean. Thanks y'all.
Do you really like this wax? I am thinking of switching to it. I use 50/50 blend and the prices are getting too high plus my supplier is discontinuing it so I have to either find a different wax or a new supplier and the latter is not possible.
Ok, two things: Does anyone know where I can get a dupe of Candleberry's Hot Maple Toddy scent? I love that one! I cannot find a maple syrupy scent that compares. Two: Does anyone know what type of wax that candleberry uses?
I have been using a 50/50 blend but it has gotten too expensive so I want to switch to 100% soy or close to 100%. I found the Golden Soy 464 and it has a creamy appearance but all the benefits of soy. DO any of you have any advice???
There was a lady on here that uses the same candle pans I do. I use them to sit my electric candles on. They have a handle on the side and the edges are crimped sort of. I need them asap, if you know of anyone who has any let me know.
I purchased an electric candle from ABC b/c I liked the way it looked and I like to try and imitate new things but I am really puzzled on this one....it looks as if they have a pillar inside and have coated the outside with frosting. Since I have only made the traditional ones I have no clue how to do this one. Any thoughts?
I bought grubby molds from flexiblemolds.com and there molds are a little harder to get the candles out at first but once you get the hang of it, it is a piece of cake. Like the other poster said, it really is trial and error. Try it and see!!
I have purchased molds from flexiblemolds.com in the past and am looking at buying some more but wanted to buy a few more and I stumbled across soapandcandlemolds.com, I seem to recall on here someone saying that one company had been taking money for orders and not shipping them out......which company was that?
