  1. Wow, even though they were meant to be pink, the orange is beautiful, nice job on those Christina.
  2. My latest and last for a bit until I can make more room on my rack. It is scented in Lonestar's Juniper Breeze. It soaped nicely, scent did not morph or discolor and is holding strong at .7 pp. Swirl colors are in the Grape color again from The Sage and the green is Kelly green oxide with a touch of black oxide for darkness. I was afraid of seizing so I did not do as much of a water discount as I normally do. This is the second Lonestar FO I have soaped so far, and both have performed wonderfully in CP. Thanks for looking.
  3. They turned just a bit darker than the pic I posted after cutting, but still look very "pumpkin pie-ish color" to me. I just did the Spiced Banana Bread from Daystar and it did the same thing, it really morphed in the soap, it smells nothing like it did in the bottle, no banana smell, and very little spice. You can tell it is a bakery scent, but that is about it. So I think I am done with trying out spicey bakery scents for now and just stick with my OT Chai Tea. I think they may do well in the whipped soap, but until I find a better way to cut mine and make them look nice, I am not doing any more of that either, LOL! To me, the saponification process always seems to kill off a lot of the weaker notes of the FO, or at least it seems that way to me.
  4. Nice job Julie....they remind me of toasted marshmellows, yum!
  5. Some nice swirling action you have going on....practice makes perfect.
  6. Purty soap Angelique. A lot of the pumpkin faded out of mine as well, I just smell a little, mostly smell the spice, but it does smell good.
  7. I use metal tape from Home Depot to seal the bottom of my molds and never had a leak.
  8. Don't give up, it just takes practice. It was quite a few batches before I could get a good swirl going on in mine. You are doing good so far.
  9. Very nice for your first batch, can't wait to see it cut.
  10. Really liking those. I think the stamp is really nice. You are so creative Julia.
  11. Nice swirls and I love the color of the black raspberry vanilla, very nice!
  12. I use them for labels too, been happy with everything so far. I can just see you and all of those "colorful" words coming out of your mouth, girl! You are too funny!
  13. You can't use those craft bags or the regular ziplocks, if I remember right. But I am pretty sure you can use the ziplock freezer bags or cellophane bags.
  14. All I can say is....Way Cool!!!! Those are awesome!
  15. Wow, I have never had mine make splatter messes before, but I do like it. But have heard a lot of people say they like the smaller embossing gun.
  16. This has been discussed a few times, here are a couple I found in a search. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35468&highlight=ky+favorites http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20770&highlight=ky+favorites
  17. I am already a member of the TSA and wanted to go last year, but we decided on the candle conference instead. :rolleyes2 Even though we got to meet a lot of great peeps, kinda wished we had gone to the soap one instead. Thinking about it though for next year.
  18. Hmmm...I don't smell strawberries, just mango. It kicks butt in body butter.
  19. Beautiful colors Anita, bet it smells wonderful!
