I used to let some of the comments about pricing get under my skin, but I gave up explaining anything a long time ago. When someone makes a comment about the candles or lotion, etc, they've found at the $$ store, I just say that it's wonderful they found such a cheap price. It's pointless to try to deal with the $$ store mentality. However, I completely understand and have experienced what you guys are talking about. There are a lot of name brand candles being sold around here for less than what I could sell for.

I've got the real thing, and Scent Works has it dead on. So does SOS.

I found a set of glass pots at the thrift store. A couple of the sizes even have a little pour lip on the side. These work really well for me.

When I used this wax, I always poured at the slushy stage. For most fo, I used 1 oz pp. I never was really happy with the hot or cold throw with this wax, though.

I've been using LX wicks a lot and been pretty happy. I do have some #2 square braid but haven't tried it. Been on something of a hiatus lately.

The lilac is one that I keep year round--in soaps, b&b, and wax! Love it. I feel the same way about several of her oils.

I like the look. On first glance, I thought of "beachy." After another couple of looks, I think it looks very Southwestern. I'm a huge fan of your candles!

They are all very pretty, but I can't help but pick a fave--Surf's Up. I live on the beach and always gravitate towards the beachy things.

Love those. I've done a few but nothing as nice as yours. I found that the SFIC clear base wasn't so clear for me even with no fo.

lol This is too weird. I was just re-reading this entire thread after a very long time. I made this a loooong time ago and loved it. I'm rethinking my offerings and keep going back to thinking about this recipe. Thank you, Kristy, for introducing me to VCO. I love it and refuse to sub it for anything.

I'm the worst at really detecting what I'm smelling with fo, but I have put this one in candles. The scent throw in paraffin is great, but I've never soaped it. I'll see if I can get someone with a better nose for details to take a whiff and let you know.

Love both of those. I'm hoping to soap the almond & shea within the next couple of days. I've got a long list of fo to soap. I don't think I have the ginger flower, but how's that almond & shea smelling after cutting?

I am loving your color combos and getting the urge to pour wax again. I haven't poured anything during the sweltering heat we've had this summer.
