wsp has one that's pretty clear--or at least clearer than most that I've tried. I also have a block from Kangaroo Blue that seems to be even clearer, but I haven't tried it yet. BTW--the fo has been the tricky part for me. For the most part, I've just been using a little cucumber melon for these children's soaps that I need to be clear. I got tired of testing for cloudiness and just stuck with that one since I got good results.
I'm not a member--yet. But, Donna Marie Coles Johnson, founder and CEO, is the featured guest speaker at the GA conference in April. I am looking forward to meeting her and hearing her talk and will then make a decision about joining.
I've never ordered from them, but I've tried to order Brown Sugar & Fig after a friend recommending it quite a long time ago. It's been oos ever since I first started looking--months ago. I finally gave up and decided that I'd either do without it or get it from somewhere else.
I've got some cp soap in pumpkin cornbread and backwoods blue from 2 yrs ago that's still very nicely scented. I did the honey gingerbread the first wk of Jan that's still strong, too. I'm sure they're a few others that I just don't remember at this moment.
I don't make electric candles but love them! I've bought one from another forum member and want more! I've also got one of Donita's beautiful tide pool candles in my den that I love. I don't see myself getting to either of those techniques any time soon. I'd love to learn to make the luminaries with the shells like recently posted in the gallery, but my hours at the office have increased so much that I don't see me there, either.
Thanks for the tip about the soap. My lotion has been sitting since Sunday and hasn't turned yet, so I don't expect it to at this point. I've also put it in a shower gel base without any discoloration, either.
Very nice! I don't make these and just bought my first one from a CT member. I love it and have it in one of my downstairs bedrooms at the beach. Those rooms are separate from the rest of the house and can get a little stale. The electric is perfect for a room like that since I don't want a flame!
I've bought several of his embed molds from ebay that are in the urethane, and they work just fine for those. I did try a small pillar and had a very hard time getting that out.
These are not cheap by any means, but I personally feel that these are reasonable considering the quality and cs www.vanyulay.com and www.midwestmolds.com
