  1. Major soap porn is an understatement. I am completely awestruck!
  2. Your work is beautiful, and your cause is certainly a worthy one. We're worried about it on our beautiful beaches as well.
  3. Check with bayousome.com. The service is top notch, and they do everything possible to keep costs down. They're in GA, but it won't hurt to compare the whole picture. The only drawback is that you have to buy a min of 50 for most items.
  4. The ones I can see are adorable. I do a couple of novelty soaps using m&p, also, and find it can be fun. Thanks so much for sharing!
  5. So glad you asked this and got these replies. I've been lusting over their stuff for a long time and have been too chicken to order.
  6. I'm finding the sugar cookies to be pleasant, but I'm open to the Mrs. Claus. Is that from NG? I really need a good fo of this type.
  7. It's been a while, but I do recall a bit of a cuke note but also of a salty sea breeze with it. I made a bunch of these candles and didn't really ever consider it a cuc-mel type. I used 4625 in pillars.
  8. Since your business is known to those involved, I think it's pretty rude to ask your child to sell. That's just I agree with Becky. I did a boatload of fundraising while I was teaching and would have never put anyone in that position. Pretty rude asking you for a donation as well after deciding to sell "those" other candles. Bless their ignorant hearts.
  9. Have any of you used Sugar Cookies in wax? I've poured a couple of testers (paraffin pillars) and have only done 1 first burn. I know what I'm thinking but don't always completely trust myself since I'm in pollen hell here. Please tell me your opinion on this one!
  10. Those are about the cutest I've ever seen!
  11. Not on your list, but as mentioned above--Ocean Breeze soaps really well.
  12. Honey Gingerbread--one of my favorites in cp. I haven't put it in wax for some reason but want to now. Passionfruit & Guava--love this one in all sorts of b&b Hummingbird--another fave and has a nice throw in paraffin Amazingly Graceful--the only AG dupe I've ever been able to get to throw in wax. Love it! Lilac--I try to keep this one in cp stock at all times. Scent is beautiful and sticks forever Pumpkin Cornbread--makes a very nice clean smelling cp bar and good throw in paraffin Backwoods Blue--very nice manly scent. DH loves this soap Tropical Fusion--I use this one and rename it for my local beach. Wonderful in soap and candles CS is fantastic, and so are the fo.
  13. I use Dan's bands and generally wait at least a month before packaging. Even after waiting that length of time I frequently have to give another hit of the heat gun if it's a few weeks later that I'm sending out the soap.
  14. Dang, what an awesome collection of soaps. I'll be watching for the cut pics.
  15. Very nice! Isn't it wonderful when you find suppliers you love with quality products. I, too, started with craft store crap.
  16. When I searched, I found several threads about this scent but none on the one from SGS. Have any of you soaped this one? If so, how "tan" was the tan? Their site says that it does discolor to a light tan, and this ordinarily doesn't bother me much. I'd prefer not to use TD since I don't have any handy where I am right now but would like to do a "layered" soap with a white top. Any feedback on this fo would be appreciated.
  17. All are beautiful, but I especially admire the leaf design.
  18. My sister is a Pure Grace wearer, and she swears that the dupe I get from SW is dead on. I believe they still call that one Pureed Grapes. I've also gotten that one from SOS and am pleased. I don't think I have the best nose for most scents, but I've spent more than my share on Philosophy products.
  19. I don't get in here as often as I used to but want to say that I always enjoy looking at your creations! Those pillars in another thread are also awesome.
  20. I use the extreme concentrate from SOS for soap and b&b. I've worn this scent exclusively for many, many years and feel that the SOS is as good as it gets. For candles, I've found that Backwoods Amazingly Graceful works better in my paraffin.
  21. This rates way up there in the dumbass customer category. I just don't know what to say and have no idea what I would say!
