I've found that AG is difficult to get a really throw in wax but got my best results from the one from Backwoods. I also tried extreme strength from SOS, the SW version, and another that I can't remember right now. For my soap, I get best results from the SOS in the extreme. It's my personal favorite as I have used the real one for many, many years.

I've always had fast service with them and also ordered last weekend from the sale. I was really hoping to get my order by today so I could work on a swap project but got an email today from them saying that the sale orders were slowing them down. It will be worth the wait for me.

Those are gorgeous. My grandmother made quilts, but I didn't get one. One of these days I'm going to buy a handmade one.

Thanks. I was looking at the SW and also saw a recommendation when I did a search on here. Searching for that fo is tedious as I get so many hits that turn out for "be" or "delicious" or both.

I need this and have only tried the one from SOS. I was pleased with that one for b&b but disappointed in soap. Does anyone have a recommendation? I need to order right away.

I've been pretty happy with the one from Candle Science.

I used to buy wax embeds from Candy, and hers were incredible. She moved to Texas a few years back and sold off all her molds, etc. When I did gels, I bought from the places already mentioned. I also find Laura's at Tropical Breeze to be really nice.

When I worked a lot with gel, I mainly used fo from Aroma Haven. Their scents are really good.

I found this thread while searching for something else and found it very interesting. I have only begun using palm over the last 6 months, and I definitely felt that my batches were not retaining the scent like I expected. Some of the fo were new to me, but several other batches were done with my tried and true fo. I don't have my recipes right this moment but feel sure that I used at least 15-20% palm. A regular customer who always buys almost all the Pleasures for Men that I make recently told me that there was something "different" about his last purchase. He said that he couldn't quite put his finger on it but felt that it wasn't as scented as in the past. Now I am wondering if some of the scents I tested and decided not to continue with should be given another try---especially a batch of lemongrass eo.

:bump: Still hoping for guidance. I'm leaning towards the TCS.

Thanks for this recommendation. I've been looking for a lime, so maybe I'll order this one. Did it discolor at all?

I've been searching for a Tutti Dolci dupe of the cinnamon frosting to replace what I used to use from wsp and found this thread. I would greatly appreciate any comments anyone has about the TCS version or any other one that you've used. I have a request for body butter in this scent and need to order right away. In searching, I found that NG has one called Cinnabon that sounds close. I've never smelled the original, so I truly need some help.

I agree that they suck--big time suck. I invested a little a few years back on the supplies and jars, etc, and was soooo disappointed. It doesn't take much of anything to scent a car, for crying out loud, but I got nothing. I think I've still got the jars in all of my mess but ended up using the jelly crap in an area of my yard that doesn't get direct rain so that the soil would hold moisture. That's about all that stuff is good for, IMO. However, use caution. I bout busted my fat ass when I spilled a bunch on the pavement and got it wet.

Also got a sample of mulberry, which is very nice oob. I love their scents, but right now these are the main ones that I recall. Very Vanilla
