  1. I had a customer return a candle she bought 7 years ago. I exchanged it cause I was dumbfounded and did not know what to say. I use pure soy the candle use to be purple and now its pink. This candle looks like its been threw the war. Anyone who knows anything about soy knows how the candles change over time and will not burn right. I was just wondering if anyone else would of exchanged a candle that was that old. The only reason why I know the age of the candle is because I no longer make that scent. Thinking about putting dates on all of my candles cause I cannot believe someone would have the nerve to bring something that old back.
  2. Cd wicks never worked well for me in these jars I always used RRD 47
  3. Anyone know where to buy the 3 wick jar like bath & body works has? I love the look of this jar.
  4. The open house went very well this year. I did not realize when I picked the date that it was the first day of Chanukah. I live in a large Jewish community. Had 211 people come and shop. Sold 103 gift baskets, 40 dipped bears, over 100 bags of potpourri, 208 melts and over 35 cases of candles. Sold out of Tart warmers (100) and plug in warmers (17). This year a huge seller was the beeswax battery operated candle sticks. They are so easy to make and sell like crazy. I did not know how people would like the plug in warmer so I only bought 18 and the people love them. I only have the open house for 5 hours. I spent over $900 on food, I give everyone that comes a gift, and postage. All in all it was a very good day. This is just a very strange year, people buying a ton of summer scents at Christmas time one day I will have this all figured out. Now to start looking for new ideas for next year. I feel like I have tried everything under the sun that goes with candles and customers are always looking for new things.
  5. Thank you everyone I will let you know how the open house turns out. This is our 8th year of having the open house and what a strange year it has been. This is what is left over from the shows we do. We just take stuff that we have a bunch of and make baskets up. Barbara I live in Old Bridge NJ. Middlesex county. Love the Bridgewater mall
  6. Just wanted to share some pics. Last year we had 402 people come and shop. I can't wait till its over. This is more work than a trade show.
  7. Has anyone seen this snowman ornament at any of the wholesale places? I bought these from a lady at a craft fair she said she makes them well I went to Michael's today and they have them:confused:. They hold the scent very well so I would like to try to find them. Thank you for your help Barbara
  8. I love my water jacket melters. Its the best thing I ever bought. It really speeds up the process. Also I keep mine on all the time from Sept- Dec. Just make sure I fill the water every night. The other months its on a timer that way when I come in the wax is melted.
  9. I do not sell these jars but I have seen many other people selling them at shows $4.50 each or 4/$15 hope that helps
  10. Window Bags - Half Pound with Tin-Ties (Tan Kraft) - Coffee Wholesale USA You have to buy them by the 1000's but really good prices
