  1. Hi, I recently received a gigantic roll of PVC shrink tubing from Packco and the smell is horrible. I have it sealed up in a bag and it still stinks. How long did it take for the smell to go away?
  2. I started with candles and since I don't have them perfected to my satisfaction yet, I started with sachets, lip balm, air freshners and recently M&P which was very easy and fun. I have everything I need to make some CP soap but I just can't seem to do it yet!
  3. I agree. Show Offs by Shannon is very catchy, easy to remember, easy to spell and people already know that name.
  4. Looks very luxurious. I love Juniper Breeze.
  5. Congrats. Post a picture when you can. I'm gonna make my first batch when I get everything together. It looks like a lot of fun, no wicks to worry about!
  6. A good place to pick up take-out food. I hardly ever cook any more, there is no room in the kitchen.
  7. I don't know if your scale is new or not, maybe the batteries need changing.
  8. I second Juniper Breeze from BCN - smells great OOB and when burning.
  9. I think the classy jar with the uncolored wax looks great by itself. I have a 11oz tumbler that I'm going to keep dyeless and am thinking about not putting a label at all on the glass.
  10. Looks yummy! Love the colors, looks exactly like icecream.
  11. Me too. I would probably use shrink wrap more but I suck at it.
  12. Oh I love that, so cute and functional too.
  13. I used to use an old metal spoon but recently started using popsicle sticks. I don't know if it's my imagination but the candle doesn't smell as strong as before. I had wondered if the wood had absorbed any of the scent.
  14. Thanks, now I need to get some more supplies in. So far I only have the lye, lard, rice bran oil, canola oil, vit e, castor oil and cornstartch. Need to get some butters and stuff (and get my nerve up).
  15. I've only tried BCN and love it.
  16. Sorry to hijack but I just got back from Ace Hardware store and bought some lye for my first try at making soap. I hope it's the right kind, states "Rooto household 100% lye drain opener" and it is powder.
  17. Those look great! Love the color and swirls.
  18. For my containers that do not have lids I've started sealing them with the press & seal wrap, works great. I've been experimenting with 415 recently. Are you having any frosting, discoloration issues. I am.
  19. AJ you site is awesome! Your soaps look perfect, very easy to navigate, looks very professional.
  20. I have been experimenting with this lately. I recently took colored card stock (looks like construction paper), cut it to fit width of cello bag, folded over and stapled to bag. Then I printed my info on a 2x4 label and stuck it to the card covering up the staples. I will post a pic as soon as I find my misplaced camera.
  21. I make bath salts using the recipe from BCS but I don't use 1 lb of dead sea salts-I use solar salt instead along with epsom salts, dendritic salts, fo and cyclomethicone. I do color mine with food coloring or b&b color. Very easy to make.
