  1. I can't find it anywhere!!! I cleaned my office, 1st mistake and now I can't find my formula book with my bath recipes. I need a basic, non-slime producing bath bomb formula to make bombs for an auction basket.... Anyone willing to share?
  2. Backwoods has some lovely fragrances but not a one stays in my CP soap... Trying to use up what I have in B&B stuff... sad really cuz they do smell really yummy...
  3. I LOVE the OCM!! I haven't used soap on my face in eons. And my skin has never looked better. The castor (has to be unrefined to do it's magic) is what draws but can be EXTREMELY drying. Start w/lower percentages (25 maybe) and work from there. Keeping your oil combo simple until you figure out what works for you is crucial. During the 'purging' - you may begin to doubt your sanity into trying this. But, when you really think about it, a little 'uglies' are worth the end result. Really clean & clear skin. NO harsh surfactants or chemicals to further age your skin. This method works for nearly every skin type (I'm super dry) as the oils help regulate the oils created by your skin. With continued use I have found the crowfeet around my eyes have softened considerably. and my skin overall has a healthy glow. I'm NO expert by any means. Can only speak of my personal experiences.. To attend to the 'purging' I have found melting an asprin (real stuff) w/lemon or lime juice then dabbing it onto the blemish then going to bed has really helped alot with speeding up the process.
  4. *mind whirs over the myriad of 4 letter words that could apply, lol* Thanks for the input... Trots back off to the goat to plot...
  5. http://www.thesoapgoat.com/ I thought I pretty much ordered from or at least heard of every FO supplier... Anyone heard/dealt with this one before? As if I need another to add to my list?
  6. Congrats on the site!! It's obvious alot of work went into it. I'm lucky to spell correctly in English! I couldn't imagine 2 languages! The only thing that really stood out to me was the soap references. The average consumer hasn't a clue as to what HP or CP is - and quite honestly, most could care less. Does it look pretty, smell good & bubble... I found it was hard to drop the industry acronyms, out of sheer habit of using them. Have you decided on a shopping cart yet?
  7. Ok apparently Grumpys fairies are afraid of her because they do a helluva lot more damage in my place...
  8. Wow!! How cool for makeup application impaired people such as myself. I could see getting these for the holiday parties upcoming. Thanks for you FYI!
  9. My personal opinion is they have some nice oils of the ones I have tried. Their Amazing Grace is dead on - I can't keep it in stock, I have gotten the SOS concentration and the Ultra concentrated. As this is such a light scent to begin with I found that I prefer the staying power of the Ultra. I'm also a big fan of their 'Iced' fruit collections. My experience was (4 orders so far) that the SOS concentration is fine - no need for the extra expense of the other 2 choices. But if you know a scent is very light to start spending a little more will more than likely get the result you're hoping for. Some of their oils were as Scented said, you can get em elsewhere for less.
  10. I have it. It's VERY good. No smoke notes. To MY nose it's identical to the marshmallow from Soap Silly.
  11. I've had the same troubles - and have used Crothix to solve the problem. Little word of advice, use a wee lil bit, let it set awhile then add wee lil bits more til you get the consistancy you want... :tiptoe: ask me how I know... :embarasse
  12. *sigh* - I just love looking at GA's soaps...
  13. I use Very Berry from Brambleberry - I spike mine with a little lemon EO, nummy!
  14. :::::::swoon:::::::: Now THAT'S some purty soap!!!! All the colors in them look great, the last 2 are my fav I think - though, I wouldn't say no to any of em! how about Beachside Bolero? LOL
  15. From Chicago! Actually in the city - northwest about 15 minutes from Ohare - and even better..... a stones throw from Columbus Foods!! Sadly, the only supplier I know anywhere near me.
