  1. I wrap my pucks in foil, then put them in a gussested zip top bag with a window on the front. I think that the round ones could be wrapped in foil as well.
  2. I must concur with mizbizzyb... I've been working with Jadewicks on labels, actually she's been the one working and putting up with my every whim. She's got to be one of the most easy-going, accommodating, flexible and sweet people I've met from CT. She's VERY talented and hard-working. She tirelessly made adjustment after adjustment, just letting me go with an idea to see if it worked. She's simply great!
  3. What are you talking about? Molds?? Surely you realize that soap like that doesn't come in those neat little shapes from individual molds? Or that the designs on top are part of a mold?? Weren't you just around here on the soap forum giving advice? To me, those gorgeous soaps look like they came from a slab mold... the tops teased into perfect little peaks from swirling, then cut & beveled. It's a lot of work, but your soaps are terrific!
  4. Did you do a water discount? What colors did you use? It may still be gorgeous with marbling, if that happens...
  5. KY's midnight pomegranate, followed by DS's forbidden pomegranate
  6. I think I'm one of the few who shops at Texas Natural Supply religiously, but I make my own base. Sorry! I know that they are strongly for as natural as possible, and their CS absolutely cannot be beaten. And, I got a purple pen with my last order!! Beats the pink ones I usually get...
  7. candles and supplies has the dust covers in a plethora of sizes
  8. Goddess is exclusive to Old Mill, now Southern Garden's (or Tony's)
  9. I'm having a hard time with you wanting to go green because it might make you some money. People who care about green... who truly care about it, and not just the bandwagon aspect... are almost fanatical. If you're in it for the money, you will be sniffed out and subsequently overlooked by them. It's a way of life for some people, and shouldn't be approached, in any way, as a way to make money.
  10. Really? I just found a case of straight soy that's been hidden for years. It seems perfectly fine. Do you think I should throw it out since it doesn't hold well? What exactly does 'hold well' mean?
  11. It was stated in the original post that an important oil was left out. Obviously, you haven't been browsing around this board much.
  12. Can't blame her for not wanting to put her designs out there for all of us to see. There are several scurrying around here who have been outed, or are on the verge of being outed, as picture, idea or otherwise thieves. I won't post links or pics of my stuff either. I've found the few that I trust and I go to them with my questions, etc. In no way whatsoever would I consider posting a link or pic on CT of my labelling, website, etc.
  13. please understand... a newbie comes here, reads your post and doesn't have to read any further because as far as that newbie knows, hey... it's all right. It won't occur to a single soul that it's a metaphor. All that newbie hears is 'it's only a pinch of salt'. And then, because us newbies are notorious for having lye-heavy soap anyway, someone gets badly burned. I have to agree with Meredith. Please don't muddy any waters with metaphors when it comes to something dangerous like lye heavy soap.
