    Lone star has a cranberry marmalade that is phthalate free. It has a very similar description to CS. It’s really good for me.

    I sell them in my yearly yard sale. Along with wax melts I made from sample bottles that I didn’t like or weren’t strong enough. I don’t sell melts that are duds and I let people know what I didn’t like about them.

    Thanks @bfroberts I’ve been trying to wick the Libbey cubes and running into the same problem. I was hoping the smaller diameter of the status would work better.

    Are you using the status jar? If so, does the 16 leave a shell?

    The ones you found on eBay look like your original picture. It’s pricey though. You may need to look at suppliers in the UK instead of eBay, but I doubt price will be much better once you factor in the cost of shipping by the case.

    Yes, this is the first burn. Okay, that is encouraging then. I will keep test burning.

    I used the 14oz Libbey Cube jar and filled with 10oz of glass glow. The jar is 3.5 inches at it’s widest point. I tested with csn 14 and csn 16. Let cure for 6 days. The pics are at 2 and 4.5 hour burn times. The melt pool is about 1/2 inch deep, maybe a little less. CS wick guide recommended the csn 14. I tried that and the 16 since the square shape might be problematic. But, even the 16 got no where near the edge of the jar. The next size size up is the 22. Should I wick up or am I doing something wrong?

    I’m working to add candles to my repertoire. I made soy candles many years ago but am working with palm now. Ive got the flip down for the containers. Right now I’m working on votives. Do I need to poke relief holes and do a repour to get rid of air pockets? Is that an issue for votives?

    I just saw a commercial for a little doll named Boxy. She comes with 4 boxes. Why? So you can unbox with Boxy!!! At at first I thought it was a ups Barbie! But, no, this little cutie unboxes items just like on you tube! Little shoes in and accessories for the doll I think. So, that speaks volumes as to how big this you tube craze has gotten. I can see it now. Kids making videos of their dolls unboxing stuff on you tube! 🤔🤨😳😂

    Where is this “organic” soy wax people keep talking about?! I get asked all the time if my wax and oils are organic. And I wonder how many people have thrown away candles with zinc wicks thinking they are lead!

    I use Shopify and just checked out Pirate Ship to see if I could save some money there. However, Shopify already gives you the commercial plus pricing with your account. So, if you go with Shopify you won’t have to add or link another shipping feature to it.

    Haha! I understand. That should be good enough. Especially if she’ll hang out in another room. Who knows, it may not be a big deal at all. How many years would it take for the fumes to have a negative effect? That’s why I moved my operation out of the house. My son is 5 and don’t want to test that theory on him. Ive owned animals my whole life until a few years ago. I would try to separate them, but I know if they weren’t having it, like yours, I’d give in!!

    If I had pets, I would lock them in a room or another part of the house while I was working. Or outside if applicable. Turn your our oven vent on and open windows with small fans in them to help pull the fumes out. That’s what I’d do anyway.
