    Thanks Puma ! I did order a sample of the Sea Kelp during RE sale - he he can't wait to get all of my choices ! I got the Salty Sea Air ?? too it had good reviews + remember someone on here said the Blue Skies was good too. The rest I ordered holiday + foodie type .

    Apparently there was an error on their end + the $9 was a mystery charge but I just had them add an extra FO instead of having them credit me.

    I did , I should receive them in the next few days - so Im really excited + I'll for sure review them OOB . Oh, and the mystery is solved about the extra $9 charge that I assumed was a service charge. It was a computer error - apparently it didn't calculate a FO that I took out of my cart. They were so friendly when I called. I also ordered some refined shea butter + lye - I like the refined for lotion bars .

    One question about the painted Mason jars - does the heat of the candle interfere with the painted finish, like chipping off or anything. You really should check into weddings - its a big business ! If you want to add something besides candles to wedding stuff thats super easy WSP has Large sealable teabags that you could do bath salts . Have you ever seen Wax Sachets - Im sure you'll find those on Pinterest or Google lol ! Sorry - I got carried away

    Will have to try the crackling firewood for wax melts - wonder how it compares to RE bonfire bliss ? Ive never heard of McCalls are they still around ? your blend sounds great - I wish I had some of Tennessee's brownie I prefer brownie scents , much richer I think . Let us know how it turns out

    SHUT UP !!!! OMG it is so, so pretty ! My goodness this is a talented bunch on here ! Do you do 1 oz pp ? Cant wait to get that FO from the sale going on . You should do smaller ones for wedding + shower favors - is there a local florist or bridal boutique near you - you should see if you could leave one there with your information. typically they use 4 oz jars as favors.

    I was thinking about this a few days ago. I think Im going to try blending one. I have RE samples from the 20 for $20 sale coming,plus I have some at home At home I have ICS Frosted - Grahams ICS Toasted Marshmallow - Fillmore Cocoa therapy Im just waiting for the Bonfire bliss + REs Toasted Marshmallow Ive heard its good so I'll have to wait + see how it compares to ICS . Im not that great at blending so Im kinda nervous lol ! Hopefully someone on here has tried one - sounds awesome !

    I would first try out Bulk Apothecary's sample to see if you like it - If you do end up ordering from the Lebermuth site, Id try to find some other FO's that you'd like and just make a smaller purchase - they charge a $20 fee for orders under $300. Personally I think Bulk Apothecary is too expensive for large scale candle making - IMO - so it might be worth it to go the other route as long as you get more FO than just patchouli . If not a patchouli lover so I cant recommend any others - maybe someone else will chime in. Maybe check Brambleberry or The Sage ????

    Yay Im glad I ordered it ! I think I picked some great ones. I wasn't sure about the new scents, I only picked a few one of them was Earl Grey + apple what are your faves from them. Very interesting on the roaster - Ive had to throw batches away before - so annoying Ill post by OOB first then as I test/make Ill post again. Thanks again for chiming in

    bfroberts I completely forgot about ICS - yes, she does have some great bakery scents + strong too. Thanks for the reminder. I recently poured her lemon icebox cookie in a parasoy blend for melts. OOB I thought it was ok but once poured + cured it was great , a really nice lemon sugar cookie .

    Thanks OldGlory Wow - your display is so nice, such a great selection. I want to sell the aromatherapy lockets if I can find descent ones wholesale but Im nervous about buying from Aliba .... maybe I shouldn't be. thanks again for your help !

    thanks Belinda I think I might give that one a try. Just Scent's shipping is too high for just a few ounces of FO - otherwise Id try theirs for sure. When googling donut FO I saw a review for the Better Homes + Garden version of BBW cinnamon sugar donut - but they call theirs Corner Store Bakery It had a great review. I think I'll run up to Walmart and get one as a reference since Ive never tried BBW cinnamon sugar donut. Hopefully they'll have it .

    Ive been asked to make a Donut scented candle /wax melts. Any good ones out there - I saw some on Just Scent but not sure about any of them. Do they actually smell like a donut or are they more of a birthday cake smell with cinnamon or pumpkin or a jam/jelly scent added to it ? I think they're looking for a BBW type ??? The same person asked for a snow scent ??? WTH - what does snow smell like ??? Oh geez - I don't even know where do begin this lol ! Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    I swear I learn SO much from these forums ! You guys are truly a wealth of information - thank you What do you mean by shaped melts and how are they packaged to retain their scent ? Do you think placed loosely in muslin/cotton bags would work or would they loose their scent to easily ? Im going to try to google shaped melts so I get get a visual . Btw ... how safe is ordering through Aliba, Im trying to find aromatherapy lockets. I recently saw some at a craft show, with a weaved/open design + a felt piece inside to infuse w/ EO - they sold very well . Its raining like crazy today TG - so its a perfect day to google LOL !
