  1. Ive been asked to make a Donut scented candle /wax melts. Any good ones out there - I saw some on Just Scent but not sure about any of them. Do they actually smell like a donut or are they more of a birthday cake smell with cinnamon or pumpkin or a jam/jelly scent added to it ? I think they're looking for a BBW type ??? The same person asked for a snow scent ??? WTH - what does snow smell like ??? Oh geez - I don't even know where do begin this lol ! Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  2. For those of you that have ordered from Aztec, what are some of your favorites. Barbara's post of their Pine boughs + Apples inspired me to try this one. Any tried their Vanilla Bean - Cozy Cabin - Tobacco - Kentucky Bourbon - Apple Pie . I already have their Blueberry cobbler + its really good. So is anyone ordering FO's during Black Friday ? I hope Fillmore is having a sale Id like to get a pound of the Cranberry Citrus - Love this one ! If anyones tried Fillmore's Cranberry + plum, please let me know what you thought. They've got some great oils !
  3. I need to order a hot chocolate FO + was wondering if you guys had a favorite. Ive used Peak in the past but wondering if theres something better ? I found about a dozen vintage enamel mugs that Id like to make candles with. I'll be using soy wax . Id love to try doing them with a wax whipped topping but Ive never done that before so Im worried I'll screw that part up or they won't burn properly as the whipped portion melts. Thanks
  4. Does anyone have RE Celebrate Christmas Type . I can't believe I forgot to order a sample during their sale. I don't need much, I just want to see if I like it prior to ordering, their shipping is insane for just a sample bottle. If you do let me know how much $ Also, I ordered a 4 oz bottle of their Bonfire Bliss + I don't care for it at all. I used about 1oz to test so I have about 3 oz left. I mention this incase someone wants to trade. Thanks
  5. I have a few FO's oils in my cart from Candlewic - Sugared Vanilla Shortbread - Apple Cider Donut + Butterscotch Pudding. They have a smoked birch thats sounds interesting for the holidays, has anyone tried it - thoughts ? The Vanilla Shortbread had great reviews on here so Im going with it Ive never used anything from Candlewic before - any favorites or duds ? Thanks in advance
  6. Im wanting to do a vanilla + Christmas tree /Pine blend. I have CS Blue Spruce + Fillmores Christmas tree - CS Very Vanilla + possibly another vanilla to play with. Any suggestions or your favorite blends would be much appreciated. What would be a good starting point in terms of ratio of vanilla to pine. Id love to come up with some blends for Christmas with some charming names - but Im not that great at blending or coming up with names I stumbled across a candle Co that was out in the Pacific NW and they had such a great rustic theme. They have a Campfire Toddy that sounds amazing ! Also saw a candle that had a cozy blanket scent - what the heck does a blanket smell like lol ! Im looking forward to hearing any suggestions you all might have. Thanks so much
  7. Hi Friends! I wanted to share my experience with you all from my show I did yesterday. We had a amazing show!! Sold lots of candles, soaps, melts, and tealights. We also made a possible wholesale contact who was looking for products for their spa. After the last show I was very discouraged about my sales and wondered if I was going in the wrong direction with my products. After yesterday I've had new look at everything and realized that my target audience is at true arts and craft shows and not at festivals where they have games, rides, and bouncy houses. I have also taken a lot of your advice on bringing color into my booth since my candles do not have any. I thank you all for that and hope you enjoy the pictures below as well the video I took. 8. I wanted to get opinions on this topic. I had the idea of doing gift baskets at the next shows I am doing. I wanted it to be something that people could pick 3 items and customize what they want in them. I could have everything halfway made up (box, shreds, bow, clear bag) So the putting it together seems like it would be easy. Do you guys think that these are something that would sell? They would be great holiday gifts but not sure if the time it would take to get it ready would justify the possible sales or no sales at all. Thanks!
