  3. Ok ... now you know how I know your a pro at what you do ..... your modest , thats always a dead giving away. Ive always found people that are very good at what they do to make everything look easy + are very modest Ive always wanted to try their body butters but being in MI the shipping would be $$$$ lol !
  4. Oh my goodness ... so pretty !
  5. Wow !! that is SO cool ! Thanks so much for posting, this gives me something to aim for May i ask what colorants you use - Ive only used BB The spinning is what gets me - but as you said, it took you months to perfect Great job ! So nice of you to post - thank you for taking the time !
  6. I will for sure try it with witch hazel or alchol - thanks so much ! That is the exact reason I don't like Apple either ? im excited to try again with your suggestions have a wonderful 4th of July ??
  7. Im packing them pretty tight but like you said, maybe I'm packing them too tight that they too heavy. Oh my goodness I would love to see your video ! Bath bombs can be so temperamental I give you so much credit for nailing your recipe !!! Heres one of the recipes I've been using + using slightly more or less on the liquid oils. My grandkids just love these but always ask why they don't spin + fizz like crazy lol ! Dry 1c Baking Soda - 3/4 c citric acid - 1/4 c finely ground sea salt - 1/2 corn starch - 1/3 c powdered coconut milk Wet 1 tsp melted cocoa butter - 1 tsp shea or mango - 1 Tbl almond or apricot oil 1 Tbl grapeseed oil Witch hazel for misting
  8. Come to think of it I do recall Candy mentioning that about lime eo - I'll have to give Soapmaking Resource a try, Ive never ordered from them. I love all of your posts, so impressive + inspiring. The bath bombs are so cool - I have no clue how you make them spin too lol ! i get some fizzing but nothing what your describing lol ! Ive been using a recipe with cocoa butter + coconut milk powder along with the usual ingredients ... maybe thats my problem - cocoa butter is too heavy ? idk
  9. Love em ! Does the lime eo hold up on its own in CP ?
  10. Wow this is so darn pretty ! Do you find thats theres a difference in the end result if you use coconut milk powder vs actual coconut milk ? Ive never used prickly pear juice before - interesting ! What does that add to the soap - so clever !
  11. PhoenixFyre ... so what your saying is that the Scentsy 25 watt bulb type with the glass cup is most optimal for testing tarts ? Glad you got this figured out . I guess I just never thought different melters yielded different results. Thanks for posting this
  12. Im not certain but I think big companies such as these have glass containers made especially for them that they purchase in the tens of thousands. Maybe you could find cute containers at home goods etc - if they're cheap enough + do a limited edition.
  13. What is the average watt on a wax melt burner ?
  14. Has anyone tried their sugared strawberries flavor oil - if so how is it ? Im thinking of trying the patchouli honey since I'm not a patchouli fan i heard that one is nice though. Any really good FO's on here ?
  15. No problem on my end - I use Safari on IMac
  16. thanks for posting this - good to know
  17. LOL ! Thats the thing I don't like about CP soap - citrus doesn't really stick I was think about ordering a scent from Bulk Apothecary to test - it sounds interesting - pink salt + waterlily. Its described as a fresh clean scent. How bout tonic + lime ? or a coconut + lime. I recently bought a salt bar from a farmers market that was awesome - orange + mint. Not sure how the orange stuck so well but it was great how bout cucumber + mint/ ICS has a cactus fo - ive never tried it but i recall it had good reviews.
  18. Ive always loved refreshing scents in salt bars. Some that come to mind : Blood orange + bergamot - Lavender peppermint rosemary - Ylang Lavender bergamont citrus + a hint of vanilla - Lemongrass + sweet orange - Tea tree lavender + lemon Not sure how/ if the citrus will will hold up but I sure do love those scents in summer soaps
  19. Ive only used Brambleberry's but the comments above have me curious lol !
  20. Dang you are super talented. You got me thinking about trying tallow in a recipe - I know you said you use lard. May I ask if you first tried a on line recipe from a trusted source or did you formulate your own recipe from the get go ? btw the soap with the cross is so pretty have you ever tried NG boston tea party by chance . Im looking for a good tea + lemon .
