AlwaysWondering
I KNOW WHAT MAY NOT WORK FOR ONE, MIGHT BE PERFECT TO SOMEONE ELSE.Here are my flops of CS in para blendAsian Amber - very strong, this is my PERSONAL opinion, I know others do well with this. A very deep, dark, herbal type scent if that is your thing, knock your socks off.Buttercream - I think DayStar's is much betterButtered Rum - all I can say is it doesn't smell like Buttered Rum to me.Pecan Pie - I found it to be very light in throw. I like the AH version better.Raspberry Truffle - it smells good but I find it to be light.Very Vanilla - not good, chemical notes or plastic. Just not a good vanilla. Many I like better. The CS French Vanilla is good, though. These are among those I think are great from CSBanana Nut Bread - love this one and Peak'sBlueberry Cheesecake - not too heavy on graham or cream cheese but luscious blueberry pie filling notesClean Cotton Yankee Dupe - I think this is the best version of this dupeCranberry Marmalade - sells great all year, not too tartDay at the Spa - nice, fresh, scent. Does have lemon notes.Honeysuckle Jasmine - beautiful, very strong throw.Lavender - this is an herbal type lavender, very truePlumeria - my favorite of all I triedPumpkin Pie - my favorite of all the PPs I have testedP.S. the Apple Maple Bourban is strong on the apple notes and weak on the maple and bourban. I really like this scent but if you're looking for heavy maple, this is not it. I renamed it.

jnkthailand
Wow! Very interesting thread...We have to be CS biggest cheerleaders - but - we prefer their FO over anyone elses - Very Vanilla is our all time best seller - we can't find another supplier that's even close - we use 464 in containers.Love Spell, Frank & Myrrh, Cran Marmalade all do well for us year round. Mistletoe & Christmas Hearth we're sell outs at every show we did last year around Christmas. Actually had reorders of Christmas Hearth just last week.Kiwi, Honeysuckle & Jasmine, Green Tea & Lemongrass, & Apple Harvest also do well for us.That's our 2 cents worth... 8-GRAN-ONES
i cp soap Driftwood...it is a lovely lovely scent, the only problem it turns very very dark..almost black..it will accually turn your bath water carmel color...lol and i just can't get past the dark bubbles..in my 415 soy wax..it has a light to med Ht..you have to be in the near vacinity of it burning to smell it...but it smells wonderful ...i just wish it was stronger.. Dana
Does anyone know how the Watermelon compares to Millcreeks Juicy Watermelon? Or if the Day at the Spa is similar to Millcreeks Seaside? I need these 2 oils from MC but am placing an order with CS, so don't know which samples to order that may smell similar.

Dana
Ok, so I will get the Day at the Spa anyway, lol just because everyone has good reviews of it. I am glad I stalled around getting my order in because I had another big order come in today with scents that I wasn't planning on ordering so I saved on some shipping charges I poured a tester of the Strudel and Spice yesterday....DEVINE! dnj
Got 3 samples of the Honeysuckle yesterday with my order.OOB the scent is awesome! I'm not a floral lover but this one is an exception.Tested it out in the C&S houseblend wax which I purchased a few weeks ago to try out(a parasoy blend). This morning when I did a sniff test of the candles for CT and wow! nice!! Poured into a 6.5oz Victorian Jar, 6oz tin and 2oz tin and a few tealights. I have a tealight burning in my bathroom now and so far so good with HT.My next test is the Beach Linen.....oob a nice clean laundry type scent and now kicking myself in the butt for only ordering a 1oz bottle instead of 3....what was I thinking? lol

blakesmom
Got my samples today and LOVE Jamaica Me Crazy and Honeysuckle. Not fond of Beach Linen....poured it using 4794 and the more I smell it, the more it reminds me of a shopping trip last week when a much older lady (probably in her 70s) was standing near me and the overwhelming smell of her perfume made me so nauseous, I had to leave the store. Also got Strawberry Shortcake, Love Spell and Pumpkin Pie to try.CS Likes:Cranberry MarmaladeHansel & Gretel's HouseBlueberry CheesecakeCinnamon BunStrudel & SpiceGrapefruit & MangosteenPearberryRed Hot CinnamonJamaica Me CrazyHoneysuckleMango PapayaRose (I don't care for Rose but my customers love it!)Lilac (same thing)CS Dislikes:Beach LinenBlack Cherry (too much of a fuel smell)Christmas HearthLavender VanillaTwigs & Berries
AlwaysWondering
My CS sample order arrived today! 33 samples. OOB, I plan to test all but 4 - those are great odds. The 4 I'm not thrilled with only because of the OOB scent are:Basil and Herb - strong but not sure I would want my house to smell like thisMeadow - smell some floral but also a bit of compost pile of cut grass, not fresh cut grass. I suppose if you really like earthy.....Sage and Pomegranate - just not sure, a bit musty or perfumy or both. Maybe just not my personal preferenceGolden Rose - I also bought a sample of the regular Rose and like it better. Golden Rose has some other floral notes, too. I get more of tea rose than regular rose in the Golden. Not thrilled with their regular Rose either but will take it to the test phase. sbs
I wasn't too fond of basil and herb either. Out of 36 samples I plan to use all but basil and herb, kettle corn, and I didnt like blackberry marmalade. I LOVE honeysuckle and caribbean teakwood.
