Michi
I just wanted to show you what happened to my purdy soap when using an FO with vanilla in it. this is scented with Peak's Pink Sugar, made this about 4 months ago. When I first made it I left the outer layer clear with the glitter in it and it was really nice. This is like a month after I made it (notice the yellowing):And this is the same soap TODAY, it's almost BLACK!!My daughter LOVES it how it looks now and wants me to make her black soap with lime green in the middle!! I think it's cool looking! I'm thinking the "yellow spots" you're seeing is the glitter? Yah, it's definitely NOT PINK sugar!! LOLIt's one of my fav. scents also Maryann. tonyalc
Yeah, Michi, it's definitely the glitter. My monitor just doesn't show it as clearly and it probably doesn't show as clearly through the dark soap-STILL it's very pretty! Thanks for sharing the pics with us. I made some out of Peaks Creme Brulee and it turned my clear soap a very dark brown.
