  1. You're going to have to show me your projects tomorrow lady - I'll bring my knitting bag over
  2. I've used it in a few batches, even pink sugar and haven't had any grittiness issues. Actually I just used it today in IFT's Flowerbomb - I'll post pics if I can get my camera batteries to charge. Pink Sugar can crystallize so IMHO it's the FO.
  3. Dammit, something else I have to try... I'll put that in line right after my pine tar.
  4. OK girlie, my first thought was, holy crap, a sugar plum fairie exploded in her soap mold!! Then I though that Dana would love a bar Way cool chica.
  5. Thanks Scented - just filled it out.
  6. Greenleaf is the only supplier I know of that carries Archipelago dupes and it doesn't look like they carry that one. I'd love to know if there are other suppliers that dupe them. *ETA: just found that FNWL carries Persimmon Arch.type but that's the only one*
  7. Woohoo!! That's awesome girlie!!
  8. Went and signed up and have gotten immediate & very helpful (thank you PA!) communication. I have no worries now and will start the grueling task of setting up my site this weekend.
  9. I bet they'd discolor once incorporated into soap like PA said. The only thing I've used that hasn't discolored is calendula blossoms. Sprinkling on top would look gorgeous though and I'd be more than happy to try it out for you!!
  10. Huh... thanks for posting that! I've always been under the impression that hydrogenation solidifies normally liquid oils and the INCI I've always seen for fractionated CCO is: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. In any case, a solid cco will give you a much diff. consistency than the FCO. You could go half FCO & half butter (shea, mango, whatever) if you feel like playing around with it. Happy formulating!
  11. Just wondering for clarification which coconut you're talking about - hydrogenated cco is not the same as fractionated cco.
  12. Thanks! Hehe, that's why I put "fragrance soy wax - do not eat!" on my labels! OK, got my question answered thru a pm, so nevermind!!
  13. I noticed on their site it says that setup is taking longer due to holidays/rush of new clients. For those who've recently signed up, how long is it taking? Just curious... I need to switch hosts asap and think HCM is where I'm going. Just wondering how long I'll be down.
  14. Dammit, why o why does it have to be the weekend of DH's 40th bday? Um, do you think he'd miss me?
