sharyl55 Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 I got in my coffee FO samples and have been playing. Here is my 1st MC Vanilla Hazelnut Mocha. J223 / soy mix, 1 oz FO, CD12 wick. Awesome cold throw but not much hot throw so far after burning it for 2 hrs. with a MP little over 2/3 of the top. Also testing Wicks Wares Fresh Coffee. OOB fantastic but no cold throw and not much hot throw. Not sure how I screwed that one up but where there is a way I seem to be able to do it. I had one using MC soy, MC Hazelnut Cappuccino in a clear glass coffee cup and it smelled great, but looked very plain. Pulling these wicks and will try a low smoke 21z. Next one will be straight J223 and the heck with the wet spots. Now to find a cheaper source for these cups. Can't afford the $2.49 WalMart charges. LOL BTW I used Peaks liquid Coffee dye and think I got the perfect color.PS But you have a great hot throw Linaya. I have a long ways to go with these. Thanks for the tips and head up on MCs V-H-M. I've seen alot of these without the froth and they just don't look as realistic. Have you tried the dollar store for those glass cups?
