  1. Yep, its a one-piece outfit with a nearly invisible zipper. Ava didnt want me to take it off yesterday after I took the pics; its so soft and snuggly!
  2. My daughter is SUCH a good sport for being my little model; lol! I finished this one-piece outfit last night, spent today typing up the pattern to list it on my Etsy shop. My fiancee came up with the name "SnuggleTots", which I think is so cute and fitting for this outfit.
  3. Guess what?!! The editor of a looming magazine contacted me last week and asked if I wanted the pattern put in their March issue! Of course I said yes. Im not sure when exactly its coming out, but its an e-zine only (not available in stores) and the link will be: www.loomknitterscircle.com Thanks so much for all your kind words!
  4. Thank you! I found the pattern at www.lionbrand.com Just go to the pattern finder and type in "70583AD". It should bring the pattern right up!
  5. Im addicted to loom knitting. So, thats what Im going to recommend; lol! For about $12 at Walmart, you can get the set of 4 Knifty Knitter circle looms, and she can make baby hats on the little blue one in 30 min to an hour. And, that particular loom is small and easy to use from a reclining postition. I sold over 20 infant baby hats between Thanksgiving and Christmas on my Etsy shop; they are very easy to do! And, I have created some baby hats patterns that I could email for you to print out and give to her. Baby Hat patterns Ive created: Watermelon hat Snowman hat Xmas tree hat Cable knit hat Plus, there is alot of cool KK patterns out there on the internet. I usually make my own because I have a hard time understanding other peoples patterns. If you need help deciding on what supplies to get, let me know! Im always willing to enable other people to loom knit with the Knifty Knitter!
  6. Thanks everybody! I stayed up late last night and finished the matching leggings. Still gotta try my toddler slipper pattern, and then she will have a whole outfit!
  7. Started this about a month ago, forgot about it, and finished it up today! I call the color "Black Rainbow"; I got 8 skeins of it from Ebay a few weeks ago. Ava already has a knitted zipper jacket out of it, and Im getting ready to start matching slippers and leggings. Then, hopefully, I will have used up all of that yarn!
  8. Yeah, I finally figured out how to read a crochet pattern after crocheting for 20 years! I always have problems reading patterns! This little guy turned out okay; a little dorky perhaps. So, Ive named him Edgar!
  9. That is so pretty! My mom also used to make Barbie clothes for my little sis and me. I havent tried it myself, but I have seen some patterns recently for loom-knitted Barbie clothes that I would love to make! Now, if only my daughter liked Barbies; lol!
  10. Thanks everybody! I have it listed as a unisex and wanted some other opinions. It was so fun to design and make!
  11. My own design! The idea came to me last Thursday night. I was trying to think of a different kind of way to incorporate a snowman that I could loom-knit. My fiancee loved the design after he saw the colored graph paper pattern. So, he took me to Michaels and told me to get the best quality of yarn I wanted to use. So, of course I got the "good stuff"; mohair:D ! I think, start to finish, this took about 6 hours to do. The first pic shows my daughter modeling it. My Knifty Knitter Yahoo Group even put this sweater pic up on their home page today! What do you guys think? Does it look boyish, girlish, or unisex? Thanks for any opinions, Linaya
  12. Both the dog and the coat are simply adorable!
  13. Hi everybody! I havent been on here in awhile, but I have still been keeping myself busy with loom knitting and crocheting. I have added most of these items on my Etsy shop, and have actually gotten a few orders recently:D ! I designed all the patterns on graph paper first, then made them. 1st pic-Knitted tunic dress size 12-24 mos. I made it to wear as either a dress with tights, or over pants. With a shirt under it, of course! 2nd pic- A baby Christmas tree hat that I knitted then hand-sewed the "ornaments" on. I already sold one of these! 3rd pic- A baby watermelon hat that I just LOVE!!! I also have the same pattern designed for a few other items I still need to try out. I have made a knitted ball out of this pattern too. 4th pic- Drawstring Snowman Bag with Pom-Poms. I designed the pattern in three different sizes. My daughter LOVES it!!! 5th pic-I have been playing around with cable knitting, and made this ball to show how pretty cable knit is! 6th pic-Crocheted Christmas Baby blanket for a friend of mine who is due to have her baby on Dec. 12. Hope you all are having a great Holiday season so far! ~Linaya
  14. Adorable! I made one last Valentines, and it looked horrible! Yours is perfect!
  15. I didnt know how to make sweaters before, although I always wanted to learn how. I designed the pattern for this sweater and two others by trial and error. I also crochet, but cant knit with regular needles very well. The knifty knitter looms are nice to be able to make fast projects. Id definitely recommend them to someone who can crochet but not knit the regular way. Even kids can use these!
  16. Both are so cuuuuuuute! Did you like the looms?
  17. Well, there you go again...raising the "crafting bar" for the rest of us:D ! Adorable, as usual! I love the slogan!
  18. Finished another sweater this past weekend. I think I want a smaller guage loom because the one thing I dont like about the Knifty Knitters is that the stitches arent very delicate. Anyway, also I got 6" cut off my hair last Wednesday. I think I look like a newscaster now:D !
  19. I think that Winnie the Pooh one is just about the cutest thing Ive ever seen! And the metal tin, is that grapes and leaves? I love that! Everything looks awesome; keep posting pics:D ! ~Linaya
  20. Wow! That little piggie looks amazing; Im soooo impressed! And, the purse you made for yourself looks extremely professionally-done!
  21. I finally made a pair of tube socks for Ava the other day, and I WAS pleased...until I saw your socks:D ! Now, the socks I did look stupid compared to your handknitted heels; Im in complete awe! Knitting with needles does NOT go well for me; crocheting was always my thing.
  22. Anita, thats my problem! I wrote down the pattern as I was making it, but I wrote it in a shorthand that only I understand (not intentional). Now, I cant figure out how to re-write the instructions for others to be able to use:D .
