  1. Not sure if this belongs here, but I just found course Himalayan pink salt at my Grocery Outlet. 2 pds for $3.99
  2. I've only used the lemon verbena yankee type. It is great in 464 at 1 oz p.p.
  3. wow! I just put 6 dozen apothecary jars and lids in my cart. The shipping would be over $100. Of course I just bought wax and I am broke but this is too good to pass up.
  4. Same here! But lately I have a whole bunch of spigots that won't fit my new bottles.
  5. Love the red. Bet it smells wonderful!
  6. Wow! Lots of great ideas. I'm afraid I may have to make more of this blend, lol
  7. @Sarah S I love them all! Now which one do I pick?
  8. I did a blend of cinnamon and musk. Not crazy about it, lol, but I hope someone will like it enough so I can get rid of the clamshells I made. I smell more cinnamon than anything, but not enough to call it just cinnamon. I had named it spicy musk, but didn't go over so well. Any ideas?
  9. You can find some fairly inexpensive at Boscovs.com. Free shipping over $49 and 20% off promo code RMNBOSDEAL
  10. I am home based, but zoning doesn't allow me to sell from here. I will make arrangements to meet up and deliver to loyal, local customers, but I won't travel far. I have just one wholesale account. It is local so I deliver to them. I actually maintain the inventory and stock the shelf myself. I come in one day and see what is needed to replenish, then make and deliver. I have a spreadsheet type invoice with scent names and sizes and prices that I tally and total. I have them write a check to me on the spot at delivery. As far as size and equipment goes, it really depends on the size of the wholesale account(s). I think @Trappeur does a lot of wholesale so maybe she will chime in on this.
  11. What wax are you using? I use a single htp 1312 with 464. Liquid dye also. But that was before soy wax got so wonky.
  12. Maybe all the words Pink Fairy Dust in the pink color?
  13. I'm with @barbaranj on this one. Love it! Even if there was an orange-ish filter, it might look pink-ish. Great job as usual Trapp.
  14. I like that name, bet you will make some beautiful labels.
  15. @TallTayl Any idea when the prices are going up? I am gonna be 3 hours from Reno next week, (I could pick up some 464 from candlescience). Not sure if I need to get some right away or do you think it can wait a couple months?
  16. I am loving mint condition. may have to steal that one myself!
  17. Peppermint Mist sounds like spring to me.
  18. Wow, I did not know this! Changing all my "type" names right now. Thank you!
  19. I re heat the wax. Just wax in the presto. Color and scent in the pour pots Occasionally I will use up the wax in the presto and wipe it out with a paper towel before adding fresh wax. But for the most part no cleaning.
  20. Well, I 'm just so happy to have two separate work spaces now, one side of the room for candles, one side for M&P soap. Anywho, I'm working away at the candle table, and thought I'd get some goats' milk M&P melting. Put it in the micro for 30 seconds, got busy with candles....A few Minutes later I realize the micro is still going. I had set it for 30 minutes! That SH... stuff was boiling away and phew did it smell bad. Ok lesson learned, never doing THAT again, (I hope)
  21. I try to add new scents at least 4 times a year. It just depends on how much time I have to test. I try to use my existing fo's up by trying new blends...thus a "new" scent is made. I also discontinue some almost every season if they are not good sellers. When I discontinue I will still make that scent if a customer requests it (and I have any FO on hand).
  22. can't help you, but glad to you're back
  23. lol, that's why she posted the same thing 3 times above...lol, lol
