  1. I use ky125 and I don't add anything to it. I love this wax!
  2. Pryme? Where do you get that? I use ky125, is Pryme for soy? TIA.
  3. I just did a search for the Candle Source, and got some great info on their fo's (I found some great links). I love J&J Bathtime and plan on placing another order, but I'm just wondering what samples I should order this time around. I love their Monkey Farts, Sun Washed Linen, Vanilla Crunch, Clothes Line, and Downy. But there are so many fo's that I have no idea about. The scent descriptions seem a bit vague. I use Ky125 . . . any suggestions or must haves from the Candle Source?
  4. I must apologize, I thought you were talking about the Candle Source. I miss read your posting. I haven't tried the Lavender from Candle Science, but the one from the Candle Source is wonderful. It's called J&J Bedtime Bath (Soothing Lavender). It's a dupe from Johnson & Johnson baby products. Sorry about that.
  5. Jeana - what type of wax are you using? I just poured this last night and I'm waiting a few days to let it cure. It really smelled wonderful OOB and the cold throw is awesome. I use Ky125. If this works in my wax, I'm going to order more. I also like Grandma's Kitchen from Candle Source. Another good one from them is Spiced Apples & Peaches. Are there any scents that you would suggest?
  6. The link for ICS is www.candlesupplys.us . If you are a first time buyer, there as a great sale going on . . . 10, 1oz scents for only $7.50, that's half price. Everyone seems to like ICS, great quality, great customer service, and great prices!
  7. Today, I started test burning Vanilla Hazelnut Mocha from Millcreek. It is wonderful. Great cold and how throw. Everyone that comes into my office has been commenting on how good it smells. It's filling my office and down the hallway. I'm using KY125, 1.5oz fo per pound of wax. I'm testing more samples from Millcreek . . . so, I'll keep everyone posted.
  8. FOH has a clear, strong one too!
  9. I use ky125 . . . but I've been told to try an htp105. I think that is way to small. What type soy do you use (if you don't mind me asking)?
  10. Testing soy in 8oz square mason jar. Just wondering what size wick to start testing with. I'm thinking about htp126 or htp1212 . . . any suggestions? Thanks.
  11. I like them too. I've only tried a few because they are far from me. Blueberry, orange spice, lemon drop, & lavender are all very good. It's been a while, but I can't remember getting anything that didn't work in my sample pack.
  12. I tried Christmas Splendor - to me, it was very soapy smelling. Also, Cinnamon Bun smelled like tar. I really like the Snowy Pine, Caramel Apple & Cookies and Cream. Customer service is great, however, I think (for me at least), it's pretty hit or miss. I've heard that FH's Rose is wonderful (haven't tried it myself) and the Strawberry is good.
  13. Never heard of this supplier, can you post their website? Thanks.
  14. I've recently started testing some of Vickey's fo's. I use KY125 and KY pillar/votive wax. So far, I love: Lemond Pound Cake Vermont Maple Syrup Caramel Pecan Pie Homade Apple Pie Pumpkin Pie (I mix it with a little HAP to kick it up a notch) Cinnamon Toast Every fo I've tested has really thrown well for me.
  15. Just Scent is having a sample sale. I've already done a couple of searches and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I'm looking for their must haves . . . any suggestions? TIA
  16. I just mixed it with Snowtop's Creamy Coconut Pie (50/50) . . . the cold throw is fantastic . . . will test burn next week. I'm naming it Banana Cream Pie.
  17. I'm looking for a good blueberry scent. I've tried a couple, but they smell like vinegar. I'm looking for either a sweet plain blueberry or something with a little bakery is fine. Any suggestions? TIA
  18. I've been checking out Mill Creek, and many say that their Mango-Papaya is wonderful. I'm not sure if that smells like a vacation; but it seems tropical to me. I've read that it's a good thrower in soy. I plan on ordering some, so I'll let you know.
  19. Key Stone is another supplier I'm going to place an order with. I'm going to order Salty Sea Air & their Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Any other must haves. Thanks everyone!
  20. Any must haves for Tri-State or Southern Scentsations? I'm going to order some samples from each. Thanks so much.
  21. I would avoid Flying Witch Fragrances. IMHO, hit or miss, mostly miss for me.
  22. With the oils that I have, I would try: lavender, vanilla, white cake, birthday cake, yellow cake, pound cake, orange chiffon cake, green tea, anything citrus (monkey farts, lemon pie, key lime pie, pineapple supreme, fruit slices, grapefruit, cool citrus breeze, etc.), anything berry (strawberry jam, blueberry cobbler, blackberry sage, raspberry dream), clothesline fresh, summer breeze . . .
  23. I was just on Mill Creeks website and noticed they sell a "Tangerine Lavender" . . . sound good to me . . . wonder if anyone's tried it and if it throws good in soy.
  24. Thanks so much for your suggestions. Last night I mixed the spearment with hot cocoa - smells wonderful. Tonight I'm going to go with lavender. I'll also try the eucalyptus. I have an apple, citrus, cranberry and christmas tree to play with. I never realized there were so many possibilities! I Really appreciate your help!
