  1. OOoooo wow!! Very nice. Another thing to learn. That would be awesome to do for my sons. I lost my husband last June and am trying to think of something to make for my sons to commemorate the anniversary this year. Hmmmmm putting thinking cap on.
  2. Ummm do we want them to melt? How long should I leave it in my pocket? The lotion bar(push up tube) has a dab of shea butter besides the base. Try it too? Uhhhh thinking I may want to make sure I do NOT have new pants/shorts on?? Thanks!!
  3. Well, got our Lotion base and Lip Balm/Lotion Bar base from BCN. Tweaked the lotion with a dab of shea butter and it turned out good. Did the same with the balm for a lotion bar that we put in a .50 tube. Turned out good. Both lotions were scented wi Tidal Wave FO. Also made bath salts with the same scent. Made lip balm flavored with BCS's flavor oils. Mmmmm nice and tasty. Been testing the lotions daily now for 3 days and am liking the feel of them. Any other ideas of how to test? My daughter in law, her mother, and my future daughter in law and her sister is testing them. I put a sample of them all in the freezer to see what effects it had on them. Nothing so far. :highfive:
  4. OOOOooooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me want to rush and make some, but i am scared to. :rolleyes2
  5. Thanks Gerrie. That is what I was thinking, just needed to be reassured that my mind was working correctly.
  6. How many of you use a lotion, lip balm, or shower gel base and sell it?? When you sell the item, how do you label the product? What I am trying to figure out is, do you list theingredients in the base? Or do you list : base, fragrance oil, ect? :embarasse I am so confused lol. TIA for any help.
  7. I drive 210 miles, roughly 4 hours one way to pick up supplies. When I do this though, I buy enough to make it worth my while going.
  8. I have been using 4876 and have had good luck with them.
  9. Nothing in my pot. We have a Street fair we are doing this weekend though. Our first show. I am soooo nervous. All we have left to do is load the vehicles. Already set up a practice run with our tables so we have an idea how it will look. Practiced with our tent so we dont look like a bunch of fools setting it up. Just have to get over the MAJOR nerves I have now and all will go fine.
  10. Hmmmmm so many places to check out. Thanks. We have a Blueberry fest coming up in June and I need to get busy for it. Thanks for the suggestions.
  11. Help please. I need a dead on FO for Blueberry. Any suggestions for who has the best scent? TIA
  12. I havn't checked many yank candles out, but had the chance to do so this weekend. Oh My!! Do all of them have a crystalized top on them? Or just the few I sae? I also saw a couple burning at my dentists office and wow at the soot on the jars. I think I would be ashamed if mine turned out like that with the soot problem. :tiptoe:
  13. I know I don't have very many posts, but I want to thank everyone for the suggestion to let your candles cool in your oven. I am using 6006 with 9 oz hex jars and have had major sink holes with them. I have started placing them in my pre-warmed oven and letting them cool. I now have smooth even tops that I don't have to fuss too much with. So much easier and less labor intensive than my old way of cooling on counter top and having to blast them with my heat gun.
  14. I was trying to wrap some votives yesterday. I started out taping my shrinnk wrap and hitting it with the heat gun. Then I remember my sealer still in the box I got with my heat gun. Oh My!!! That thing is one of the best inventions man ever did!! Makes it soooo easy. Work goes so much gaster now. I was having to keep taking it away from my daughter in law. LOL
