  1. I can send you a sniffie of the redwood and cedar, and the cool water if you want. I don't have the cashmere. PM if interested.
  2. You could try it for yourself and find out...
  3. My Peak favorites are: ginger peach green clove and aloe white tea and ginger strawberry kiwi ocean It's hard to pick just 5 though.
  4. Denaturation would definitely occur, but I am thinking that the strong basic conditions would indeed break the peptide bond. It is a very strong covalent, resonant bond, but the conditions in soap making are extreme.
  5. Wow, that is some impressive organization! You have listed only 9 of the 23 scents, how did the rest do? What is the company that also sells some of Bert's stuff?
  6. How about now? Anyone order these?
  7. 1.8 ml jar? That can't be right.
  8. Any one try the new Summer Orange Flower or the Passionfruit and Guava yet?
  9. That is one adorable bunny! What is the green thing on his left hand?
  10. Yeah, we put a lot of stuff down our drains. Fragrance is in everything. Your sink scent is probably less harmful than a lot of other stuff. I hope they sell well for you because they really are nice looking in your packaging. I am a chemist, too, by the way, but this is out of my specialty.
  11. The FO is going down the drain for the most part, but some gets dispersed into the air (that is what you are smelling). It's not the stuff in the air that I worry about. Putting FO down the drain is not very environmentally friendly to septic systems. It's not a huge amount, and you wouldn't do it very often, so I don't really think it would be all that bad though. However, saying that this product is "environmentally friendly" is not really true IMO. That is the only point I am trying to make. Don't get me wrong, I like your product and the packaging with the scoop is very nice. I just don't think the phrase "environmentally friendly" is applicable.
  12. I do like your packaging... but how "environmentally friendly" is fragrance oil? I saw in your other post that this is made of baking soda, citric acid and FO. No problems with the baking soda and citric acid, they will form sodium citrate and carbon dioxide in water. But the FO... I wouldn't say they are "environmentally friendly."
  13. I'm still not getting this... do sinks stink?? Mine don't. They smell a little of the soap products that we use, dish detergent in the kitchen, hand soap in the bathroom, and shower gel/soap in the tub. If the sink hasn't been used in a bit, it doesn't smell like anything bad. Maybe it's a garbage disposal thing. I don't have one of those.
  14. I am waiting until the week of 6/30 to order so I can get all four of the ones that are coming in that week. I also want to try the apricot and papaya. Lots of new stuff coming!
  15. It depends on the crowd you are selling to. Personally, I would never pick up anything named Hillbilly homebrew.
  16. Anyone compare FOH's eucalyptus spearmint to Tony's? To ICS's?
  17. Yes, I agree with carol k, the shipping and handling at AH/RE is steep.
  18. I just used AH/RE yuzu in some M&P this week, and it is really good. I have a bunch of their FOs and have never been unhappy. Check out their sale announcement in the "Weekly Sales" category.
  19. Thank you for posting this! Funny, I just emailed them on Saturday asking when they were having their $1 sample sale. I did not get a response, and I did not get the announcement of the sale. Maybe I need to sign up again. LOVE the lavish laundry, white nectarine & apple tea, black vanilla.
  20. I am partial to squares too! Very nice candles!
