  1. You can browse the suppliers by state website to see who is closest to you. That will help quite a bit with the shipping costs. For me CS is only a $20 shipping fee per case but you are much farther away. http://www.suppliersbystate.com/state-listings.php I would suggest peaks. They are always reasonable on shipping and alot closer than North Carolina :smiley2: http://www.peakcandle.com/products/Votive-Blend-IGI-4794-CASE__PW1011.aspx
  2. Thanks so much for posting their reply Natty, I'm at work so I haven't researched it yet but, even if I do, not sure how that will help my label problem lol. Sure hope they come up with something. It seams a little strange that labelsbythesheet keep their labels open to the environment and it doesn't have any effect on them
  3. It really sucks that so many are having the same problem but I really appreciate everyone posting. I will definately try to hunt down the spray to see if it will work but the closest Michaels to me is an hour away. Natty - If you hear anything from labels by the sheet, please let us know.
  4. They are the glossy ones . I did a search and found a few that had the same problem but no one posted a solution. I guess I will have to switch labels but I use photo quality graphics on mine so I'm not sure what else will work.
  5. My labels are yellowing . I but them from labels by the sheet and print them myself. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening or is it the labels I am buying? TIA, Kim
  6. I'm not sure where you are located but Bitter Creek has a "sample pack" of waxes you can buy to help you test the different waxes. The kit doesn't contain soy or my favorite so it's not a complete kit but it will get you started. It really does come down to personal taste in the end. I like 4630 myself. I've tried 6006 (paraffin/soy blend), 4627 and J223 (paraffin) but didn't like them as well. Other people on the board will swear by these waxes and they are right. They have found the FO/wick/wax combo that works for them. http://secure.candlesupply.com/catalog_page_detail.cfm?queries_index=index7&title_bar=Low%20Shrink%20Wax%20Discount&recordno=11&Product_CatalogID=1985&ProductCodeID=76&ProductSubCodeID=249&NewProduct=0
  7. Labels by the sheet has special hand punches. They don't have a candle but maybe you could contact them and see if they can get one. http://www.labelsbythesheet.com/items/hang-tags/hand-punches/list.htm
  8. The Jar store has some... http://www.jarstore.com/GlassJars.html
  9. I look forward to this post every week. I don't post to it because I never feel I have too much exciting going on but I love reading about everyone else's adventures This weekend is my tester pouring weekend.... BCN Closeouts Ginger Appletini Earth & Sky Blueberry Cobbler Violet & Birch BCN Stonehenge Candlescience Hazelnut Vanilla Very Vanilla White Clover & tea Not really exciting to read about but I'm loving it!
  10. Just beautiful! And your photography is awesome too!
  11. I still haven't ordered any because I can't decide . I am such a bakery type person that it just kills me to pick out florals. I am absolutely in love with white clover and tea though but I'm afraid it won't throw very well and no one has posted any reviews for it on their board so I'm even more leary.
  12. I love BNL Sandalwood Vanilla but I won't share it lol
  13. I am going with... Lovespell Pink Sugar Wildberry mousse I have heard alot of people talking about chocolate scents and cinnamon red hots too but I haven't tried them. The wildberry mousse from candlescience is AWESOME and everyone here loves it!
  14. I'm not sure what version the demo actually is. I bought the premier because it said it has B.O.M. capabilities. If you want to check the demo version to see if it can create B.O.M.s, go to the list pull-down menu/inventory/manufacturing/inventory assemblies. Like I said before, I'm just playing around with it right now but it looks very promising!! Forgot to add...When the dialog box comes up you have to click on the "add" icon in the upper left hand corner
  15. Hi Bravo, I'm still muttling through the program but, yes, I was able to put in raw material and build a candle for inventory that has quantity on hand, promised, etc. I am still playing with it so I don't want to tell anyone it's great software yet but I think (fingers crossed) it is exactly what I was looking for!
  16. Thanks so much for the link Jeff! I downloaded the free trial and gave it a little test run. I ended up purchasing the Platinum system because I need to be able to create trackable assemblies (candles lol). It cost $45 but normally sells for $249. I didn't spring for the users manual (extra $40) so I will have to figure it out on my own but all the info is build into the help program already so I'll get through it. When I get it all going, i'll let everyone know how well it works. The biggest problem now is assigning part numbers for inventory lol! Thanks again, Kim P.S. If anyone already has this program. I'd love to know how it is working for you
  17. Has anyone tried this software. I found it on Ebay and it sounds waaay too good to be true so I thought I would check with everyone here. http://stores.ebay.com/intelligent-software
  18. Does anyone have any suggestions for spring FOs from candlescience? I have to order more wax and it just doesn't feel right not ordering some new FOs to try TIA, Kim
  19. I love CS but I didn't even know they offered free samples! Thanks for posting, I'll definately add my samples from now on!
  20. Hello Everyone! I had a woman stop by my display and said she sells sample packaging very cheap. She seemed very nice. I don't use samples so I'm not sure about the pricing but I wanted to share the info with everyone. http://samplecontainerstore.ecrater.com/
  21. MMS has frosted bottles. http://www.the-sage.com/
