  1. I've been thinking about getting a mold..so much easier. Does anyone know where to get these for a reasonable price? I need the size to fit in a tart pan on top of a candle warmer so it needn't be to small or to big. I wanted to pkg them that way with the little pan I have...I think they would be cute as a little gift. I tried the rolling and I just can't get it. Thanks bunches!
  2. THANK GOODNESS! I thought it was me,lol..now towards the end of this third time..I made a baby roll(kinda crappy but it rolled)..lol..and kept thinking..see..it might work..lol..then I got impatient and said more than forget it,lol.I did save the wax..still in my pour pot.So..I may be trying again..they are really cute! Thanks..this make me not wanna quit trying..just the mess to clean up ya know?LOL I'll try,try again!!
  3. hey guys, Well I'm thankful for this tutorial but I have now tried this about 3 times and I give up,lol. I did add container wax to my votive wax and it either was to warm to touch and roll to where it burned my fingers and then when I waited for it to cool,(I used a pizza pan) it still wouldn't roll like it should. It made a big mess. I don't know if I'll try it again or not. I sure wanted to master it but it just isn't going well for me with this technique..maybe it wasn't meant for me to make bakery type candles, lol. I've grubbied up some and those worked,lol..but getting these to ~roll~ has been a nightmare for me..lol. These are so cute though and I see them everywhere. Thanks again, I hope it works out for those of you wanting to try it..maybe I'm missing something..lol.
  4. Thanks! I'll have to try it. I figured you had to add something to that votive wax to make it a little more plyable! I'm determined though to get it right! Thanks again!!
  5. Heck, after thinking about the wickless votives all weekend I decided naaa. Just seems like a votive needs a wick and I'm trying to sell tarts around here to. Now if the tart thing don't go well I may try it. I like making those..wished ppl here in this area would buy them. I"m thinking the cinnamon bun and gourmet type may go better..tart wise, lol. Crumble top votives look good to. They're just cuter! Gosh I'm addicted..I even dream about this stuff.
  6. Howdy all, again! I have now tried a few times with the rolled cinnamon bun and I can't do it. My wax hardens to fast and it starts to crack even when warm. I was wondering if anyone has any secrets to this? I thought about just using plain old container wax(or even adding a little votive wax to the container wax) and then dip it in the brown votive wax then sprinkle it. lol. I wanted to put the bun in a tart pan anyway and sell it as a big tart. Seems the cinnamon bun scent is going over really well and I make crumbled cinnamon bun scented votives already..they turn out adorable and I sold that few right off the bat.(crumbles look really cute to instead of chunks..just gotta pack 'em in the mold a little, btw) Any suggestions? I can't get this off my mind until I get it done right! So HELP LOL Thanks bunches!!!
  7. Thanks guys! I did see where the votive warmers were more expensive to..so that was a turn off. Just something about a votive needing a wick, lol. Never thought of it as bigger and rather use it as tart! But my friend sure did, lol. Hmmm..dunno if I wanna make 'em that way or not..lol. Do you guys sell them very well? I may just make some and try it...I didn't wanna make both but guess it's no biggie other than just adding a wick, lol.
  8. Hi all, I make wickless candles and they have done really well for me. I am now seeing wickless votives. Does anyone on here make them or sell them? Are the warmers for a wickless votive hard to find? I just came across these tonight. I did have a friend of mine last year want to buy a votive and wanted to know if he could put it in a tart pan. I kinda told him no..don't ruin my votive, lol. It seems to me they would be to tall for the tart pan I sell and would melt over. I was just woderinf if these are becoming popular? Thanks bunches!!!
  9. Hi guys! Does anyone know where I can purchase aluminum brushed 4 oz bottles for a good price? Anywhere in Texas would be great and save me on shipping! Ideas? Help! TIA, Linda
  10. Hi all, I've been doing my research on room sprays and am wondering if anyone has used the small travel size bottles from walmart and where you get your bottles? I've seen the amber colored and frosted. I have suppliers I like, but they have only clear bottles...I really like the frosted, but they carry only 8 oz and I rather have the 4 oz. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)
